Manny would need to do a full 180º and there's no reason to believe he can get it done.
I've said it since last year, this is a guy who wants to be liked / accepted instead of feared / respected and that is a disastrous recipe for today's current athlete.
When the going is good, he gets too overhyped and is in the mix celebrating with players—leading to overconfidence, which has them getting smacked in the mouth by a future, physical opponent. When the going gets tough, it's excuse city from Manny and his players—the wheels falling off and the team with no ability to pick themselves up to fight back; instead the mistakes multiple, the late hits and penalties mount up and it's disaster-mode.
Dude isn't going anywhere this off-season, so all we can hope for is him making defensive upgrades like he did with the offense months back—bringing in Lashlee and the season savior, D'Eriq King.
Anything less and he is looking at 8-4 next year, at best—with no Coastal title another second-tier bowl game.
