What scale are you grading him on? As a 5* he is expected to make an impact at college level he does not flash.

I dont think he needs to be replaced but that 1st round grade coming into the year has not been justified. He is closer to Johnathan Ford than Gerald Willis

DTs aren't stat makers typically. He was one of our highest graded players according to PFF.

He was going against inferior competition and he was barely noticeable. Now, if your take on “playing well” is taking on 2 blocks adequately, then you have a low bar.

At what point was he holding the attack & penetrating? I legit forgot he was in at times. All I recall is UNC RBs garnishing the vast majority of their yards up the gut & #53 Lampkin who’s all of 5’9-5’10 stone walling him.

I will be rewatching the game, but I don’t ever recall Taylor’s name being remotely mentioned or seen.

Never understood Jordan Miller transferring. By end of year he was as good as or better than any Dtackle on the roster. That Loss hurt bad. Wish roberts would have stayed as well to see if he could rush the passer better than any of our jags coming off the edge with Messidor out.
