Is that bluefin tuna? What else is in that potluck?

I do agree that the FBI thing pretty much killed him. it took a few years to get back to this. the transfers of cross and Timberlake do hurt tho so let's see how it goes with this incoming class. we lost out on some top kids due to the FBI stuffAgree but he should never have had to fight this hard from this low... he was rolling.
Momentum is the product of the mass and velocity of an object, right? The FBI was a cement wall that stopped us in our tracks for a number of cycles. Harder to re-start from that low at his age. The fact that he is pulling is a good class right now is really remarkable. It could have sank him completely.
Based on his game day coaching against teams like BAMA, I will take his lack of recruiting. Miami recruits itself if you win.I would. We really want an OC that hates recruiting?

it isn't the sec.Miami very much does NOT recruit itself when you win. Not sure why you would think that. Absurd.

Respectfully disagree. Every time we rack up any wins, we usually have a surge in recruiting.Miami very much does NOT recruit itself when you win. Not sure why you would think that. Absurd.

YepNo worries. Why film cane? You industry?
Like most on this board I want Manny gone, but is that the overwhelming sentiment of the non-blogging fan base? How many fans would like to give him a chance with a new DC (and OC, unfortunately)I can't imagine an AD coming in and not firing him. It would actually be the best move - you basically get a freebie. If you come in and fire Diaz, you instantly earn the love of the fans and you're going to reap the rewards of renewed optimism by hiring a guy like Mario or Lane. Most ADs probably feel hesitant to fire their largest revenue generator's coach, but in this case, he doesn't have a choice. I think if that new hire doesn't work out, most people would give him another shot at it because he didn't really have a choice to not fire Diaz due to his ineptitude. It's a win-win for him
