Who ever "they" are no offense but f*ck 'em. "Looking at Miami sideways." **** I wouldn't have known that the way they been tossing kids to KKK hotbeds like Bama and Athens. These same people looking at us "sideways" will be s*cking Miami's d*ck at ever turn rocking turnover chains if Manny does get Miami back to prominence. We currently have a black CB coach who had CLOSE relationships with TC and Surtain. Boy, I wonder where those two went? Oh wait.

Oh, oh, oh what about when Shannon was here. How come top recruit in south Florida weren't lining up to come here year after year then? Shouldn't Shannon have finished top 10 in recruiting every year when he was here? Honestly I'm tired of what all of these MFers gotta say. Get who we have to get to win. F*ck their feelings. Now I ain't saying burn bridges but as we've seen these dude don't pull no weight in terms of getting top prospect. We've hired respected SFL HS coaches black or not, nothing.

Plus I believe we need to recruit OOS more if we actually want to compete. We need to stop this south florida all or nothing 80's recruiting philosophy. This ain't the 80's anymore we need to change or at least update the thinking of how we recruit so don't have to entertain this kind of BS anymore.

That's because miami wouldn't hire the right black coaches before he got there. So rumph like almost all of the black alum thought miami was racist af. So he was relaying that to the kids he coached it's hard to tell them something different after 17 years of something else.

There were a couple of signing periods where Rumph got left at the altar while chasing sought-after recruits that many expected him to reel in. Remember we had to scour the transfer market for Delaney and Colbert after he got played and didn't have a plan b

As long as they on the staff that's cool but this looks like its headed towards an NO BLACKS at all on staff lolz sorry i'm not for that. Yall need our children to make this school relevant cause last I checked we run this sport.

Not getting side tracked bruh either its 2019 not 1920 we see everything. So either hire some black coaches or pay like the white schools.

Bull****.

This is based on absolutely nothing.

There were hundreds of Fire Mark Richt/Jon Richt/Stacey Searels threads made on this website this year.

Stop reaching.

Everything is racism bro.

What’s ironic plenty of black coaches and players around sfla think Rumph is a goof.

They don’t take him serious. Hence why the staff doesn’t really put him on recruits. It’s all Banda with db’s for the most part.

Shannon also would offer guys they would commit and he would pull offer 2 days before signing day which hurt him in south florida golden did same thin its why ricth had to fix so many broken relationships with coaches in south florida when took over. they would cram early 2 stars as commits then when got better players drop them like a bad habit and it didn't sit well richt and staff been fixing that going after guys they want first then 2nd wave guys after golden/Shannon did opposite led to a lot of dropped offers at last 2nd to kids and really ****ed off hs coaches

Would be another step in the right direction.

Pretty good coach, awful recruiter. That’s not good enough.

These race bating whack jobs don’t even know over half the staff yet but now Diaz is racist.

This is the society we live in. Throwing that racist word around is dangerous especially where you have nothing to base it off.

Bro no one called Diaz racist were simply saying we want a black coach or 2 on staff.

Simply that nothing else.

I'm sure all the Hispanic coaches will love him the black coaches will reserve judgement of him until they see his staff and we sit down and talk about it as a community.

The same community that push kids to KKK states. I don't see y'all examine Florida, Georgia, or Alabama coaches when they come calling. Y'all give them a place to land their helicopter. LMAO.

I hope Manny keeps this same energy he has been showing. Show these mfers no mercy. Run up in there and take the talent anyways whether they approve of your hires or not.

The community don't hold no water when it comes to these top prospects decisions. They send all the studs to Georgia then tell us to take the crumbs. FOH.

All the coaches mentioned so far are white or Hispanic. When Diaz says he’s considering a black coach this will all change but until then it’s the the truth

All the names mentioned where?

Diaz hasn’t mentioned ANY names.

All we know for a fact is he brought in Fran Brown at Temple.

There was also a rumor he was looking at Seider at Penn State.

The hysteria over a whitewashed staff is complete bull****. There’s a way to advocate for a diverse staff without turning something into racial injustice.

Miami has had a diverse staff for ages.
