I'll know this well get neg but the optics of it. 1st Rumph deserves to be fired for missing out the 2 Heritage CB, so if Rumph is fired worthy what the **** has Panda and Patke done to stay other then previous relationship? LB play has been horrible and who's the LB coaches

True. But they all didn’t actually coach PS Jr., TC, and Asante and then proceed to get shut out on NSD.

Technically he didnt get shut out because miami was never really in it for them.

Rumph is a better fit for the NFL. He would only have to focus on teaching the technical aspects of the position. Position coaches in college need to be effective recruiters.

Banda made our safeties look Miami caliber. He also is a good recruiter.

Our striker position, especially Romeo is arguably our best LB who is mainly coached by Patke. If Patke coaches the LB as a whole I think we improve at LB.

Diaz didn't hire rumph. He is the coach now and wants to build his on staff.

The last decade has shown us We need coaches who can develop talent first.

I am in the camp that didn't mind keeping Rumph. However, clearly Diaz has a vision and he would know better than anyone else who would fit in that vision, especially considering it's his defense!

I can’t even imagine a scenario like that taking place at an osu, or mich, or usc or something. We hired the actual freaking coach who coached those players in HS and didn’t land any of them. (And yes, I need to get over it!)

Taking a page out of someone or someones on here but as a college coach you need to coach and recruit. Rumph didn’t recruit for ****. Did a nice job with Jackson and Bandy. Dean has been brutal since day 1.
