Mike rumph comment from Nebraska game

He's 100% on point and its the number one reason why golden has no business being the head coach at UM. When the marketplace hates the product with the intensity they do now, you simply have to make a change.

Whats crazier IMO is that even if UM can win 8 or 9 games this season and the fans will still want golden gone.

in 13, he was 7-0 when duke, dorset, and bush went down. he had 9 wins and we still wanted him gone lol

This and when he off the grid during the coaching search made me lose all of the little respect I had for him

Barrow thats you?

homeboy you're waaaay out of context. those guys weren't injured weren't injured during the 7-0 streak and we still struggled against garbage a** teams like unc and wake. so try again with people who don't actually watch the football games.

And why don't you tell us the records of those 7 teams we beat?

i never said they werent injured through then. U are right, Duke single handily won us the WF game. Lets also remember Morris was
practically playing on one leg. I think if we were healthy or at least had duke, we could have won 10 games that year. just me. i still want Golden gone tho

Getting pretty sick and tired of these guys being ridiculously obtuse about the things fans are ****ed about, and why they are ****ed about them. And this bull**** where they act like the Nebraska game was a standalone portrait played in a vacuum and not just one brush stroke among many on a painting is tired too.

They want to pretend every complaint about the staff is based on the NU game so they can dismiss those making it as irrational and reactionary when in actuality the Nebraska game was just the culmination of things people have been ****ed about for years. For the life of me I don't understand why a new season means the fans have to forget or ignore all the dumb **** this staff has done in the past.

Injuries had nothing to do with it. We came out flat against Virginia Tech and cow;don't hold on to the ball. Against Duke, we came had the lead17-7. We committed a turnover, they scored and it seemed as if we could never regain the momentum. they funded i down out throat and we couldn't do anything. Louisville just flat out embarrassed us.

Gotta agree. I think 9 wins is the absolute MINIMUM, and that's if he wins the Coastal. 8 wins and he should be fired. The Coastal is dog **** this year, and if he can't win a dog **** division in year 5, two years after the cloud has gone away, with the deepest, most experienced D he's had since he's been here, and an All-ACC QB..... Well, when WILL he?

I don't care about the Nebraska game by itself. There were other things happening in that game that helped in their comeback. My concern is the late season collapse that he can't seem to avoid. I'm more concerned with the losses to the likes of Virgina, Duke, GT, Wake, Clemson, VT, and FSU. Oh, and Pitt. The fact we even have to worry about more than 2-3 of those games tells you the state of the program, and the mindset of the fans. I'm about as positive a fan as you will find this side of Dannyboy, but when I have concerns about every single ACC team on our schedule, there is a problem. I hope we win them all, but UNTIL we win them all, or at least all of them not named FSU and Clemson, there will be very little faith in this staff succeeding. Going 10-2 or better will be a start, and I wouldn't bet a dime on that happening.

WTF?

8 or 9 wins is acceptable???

Even the dumbest dog will stop running to meet you at the door if you kick him in the face each time. We know Al will let us down, and he did. Only Corn saved him.

Because we should win 10+ every year. **** right 8 wins isn't cutting it

All these fans here *****ing about the negativity and willing to accept 8 wins at Miami in the ******* ACC. You all are the real problem settling for mediocrity. Get the **** out

Word.

"I've been a fan for XX years and blah blah. ..support the program no matter what."

If anyone was a fan for that long they would know that this staffs record is unacceptable.

Jump ship? Bruh, I've been treading water for quite some time. For this fan base, Gorlden's ship has sailed long ago. It doesn't take a telescope to see that fact.

Borck, are you 70 years old, smoking a stucco pipe on an oversized pleather library chair, in red satin pajamas?

If not, stop shaking your ******* head at everything.

If you are, carry on.

Yep. Yeah Mike, this year's Nebraska game was the reason fans wanted to "jump ship." OK.

Logan ******* Thomas' stat line in the 2013 game: 25/31 366 11.8 2 0 86.0
We lost 42-24.

That 7-0 record was a BS as our 3-0 record is now.
