That's right Mike. We destroyed programs and conferences 30 years ago and they remember. It is wonderful news that these kids understand that already. Keeping that edge is so important. We need to be hated.

But for real I wonder why we have so much hate coming our way. It doesn't really make any sense.

Richt is a good dude who runs a tight ship. Our players are held accountable and by and large stay out of trouble. The university is very selective and has excellent academic programs. It's a very diverse and international university. We seem to have basically the same setup (although in a better neighborhood) as USC and they get fellated by the media.

The hate is unfair. But F it, if they're gonna hate we should give them something to hate by beating everyone.

Hate seems to come from older fans who were around during our reign of terror during the 80's & 90's. We probably annihilated their teams and are still butt hurt about it.

If they want to hate, just gives us more free pub.

We haven't played a complete game yet. It's on the staff to identify and correct these issues in the next two weeks leading up to VT, and that includes some of the playcalling and decision making. But IF we step on the field hitting on all cylinders, there's not a team in the country we can't compete with.

How do Florida (who have legit murderers, thieves, whatever you can name), Bama (holding work with unregistered weapons), and basically every other team dodge the same cheap heat? You mean to tell me that the other teams are all Eagle Scouts. FOH with that.

Yeah, most players are young black men. Same as every other team. Most of them are also good students and excellent young men. They have a little fun sometimes with chains as a motivational tool. That's "thuggin" it? Weak sauce by the media

Got to understand. We punished God's team, Notre Dame, over and over. That 58-6 whuppin' led to decades of hate. Knock off a sacred cow, got to expect the heat. Anybody who was in South Bend for the '88 game understands the degree and intensity of the hate. Notre Dame and their ***-lickin' defenders the world over, considered us as allies of Satan. That will continue to come back and haunt us for years and years to come.

It might take a whole generation to die off before it's totally forgotten.
