Mike Greenberg calling for overturn

That show is so boring and all the two of them do is *****, neither one of them make the show entertaining. Dan and Stugotz are about the only entertaining sports show because they don't talk about sports most of the time. I don't know how people can listen to normal sports talk/coach speak all the time

This is so ridiculous. If they overturned every game that had a controversial call, no final score would ever hold up. I don't see what the officials did that was so egregious. They correctly picked up the block in the back call after conferring on the field. That had nothing to do with replay. They could have flagged us for excessive celebration but that penalty is assessed after the TD so it's a moot point.

So essentially this whole controversy is over the knee being down, which is certainly a legitimate gripe, but we see calls like this in virtually every game. Was it conclusive enough to overturn based on the replay evidence? Maybe, maybe not. But it is laughable that officials have been suspended and there are people calling for the game to be overturned.

Let's just be realistic here. Mike Greenberg is a nobody, Walton never had full possession when his knee was down, and Miami won.

Game.

Kanell on whether to overturn the game result:

"YOU CAN'T DO IT! And you have to use this ... as a teachable moment, OK? LIFE IS NOT FAIR. You can't reward everything, you can't go back and correct everything. Mistakes are made. ... In the end, you cannot go back and change that game and give a win to Duke. ... Even with replay, as you watch it throughout the year, there are mistakes in replay. ...

"So if you were going to go back and review that, would you review the touchdown of the Duke quarterback on the sneak before that? Because it was questionable, whether he got into the endzone."

Yep...it was the winning play, but 1 play does not a game make.
If the Duke players decided to attack the football, instead of playing "monkey in the middle", everyone out there would be going on with their lives not worrying how Miami got screwed on Duke's last drive.
