I like Irvin, but he's got a habit of making things about himself. He's a great Cane - always will be - but his time at center stage has come and gone. Happy for him to be around, but I don't need him turning the spotlight away from the current players.

My point from the beginning before we even get into the part how he's done the…exact…same…thing…for the last how many coaches.

Loved him as a player, obviously…Hopefully his presence is doing some good, but I don't see it. To each their own, til weird cornball type dudes bring it up months/year later
 
Imagine being mad about a HOF Cane no where near the coaches being passionate about home team and thinking it negatively impacts the program.

Ya it's really helped the last 20 years of Irvin being on the sidelines and giving angry speeches at camps.
