Michael Barrow?

To be honest I was amazed that a true Cane with that old school aggressive mindset like Barrow made it that long coaching in Folden's **** *** system. Coaching that scheme day in and out must have made Barrow want to choke Folden and No D every God **** day.

this. anyone watch that video of the coaches talking defensive recruits? i've been more worried about the cohesion of the coaching staff than these "locker room cliques". theres clearly a disconnect between the penn/temple guys and the rest

Got a link?

that was posted a few months back. don't have the time to look for it but it was discussed plenty on here. it was the video where everyone was making japes at Paul Williams not even sitting at the coaches table while they were doing evaluations.

I got ripped in here from last 2014 spring ball before Michael left .. I was at several OPEN spring practices and Barrow was done at that time. He was not coaching he was blowing his whistle on his phone etc.. he wanted out but probably thought who is going to hire me with this track record at Miami.. great player or not you are hired on your coaching abilities ( see GOLDENS hiring )....

anyway his mom got ill perfect excuse to bail and thankfully he wound up in Seattle on one the best staffs in the NFL... I wish mike the best he is what Miami stands for and a great CANE.

There were still rumblings of several $EC schools after Barrow. I'm comfortable in thinking he has more class/loyalty than two other clowns at Alabamy and UiF that some simpletons still celebrate as "true" Canes.

Probably reviewing personnel and potential recruits with Butch.

if we hire butch dog i might start daily videos of how excite i would be

imagine all dasales sky rocket every other college football team would shake. then when u see gator n fsu forums with miami topics thats when u kno the fear is real. u would go to faus forums n see why is this recruit going to miami for thats where wrs go to die, when i come on this forums i see da fau fear n florida. if we hire butch all dat **** goes away quick, they would def be scared.

cant wait till hes fired to see what this dumb admin does, how could they blow this? if UL can hire Petrino with all his baggage we could hire Butch. UL wants to win period lets see if we want to win.

Are you a native English speaker?

are u a cop ?

Lol at thinkin the whole canes roster ran 4.3s

Outside of dbs and wrs everyone else is constantly in a congested space and RARELY use breakaway speed.

Old Canes were usually fast across the board. Smith, Barrow and Armstead were about fastest trio of LBS ever. Smith and Armstead actually covered WRs. Our old DE were frequently 4.7s and even some of our big DTs were very fast. We had SPEED CAMPS not FEED camps back then.

Bro i understand trust me i know. But 4.3 guys are rare that's why everyone wants em. Because of ESPN they would've lead you to believe a 4.5 is subpar speed

True. But old Canes hunted speed above all. Sapp was a TE who redshirted and converted to DT. Lot of our LBs were safeties(Ray comes to mind) who move forward. LBs moved to DEs. Sure not a lot of 4.3 guys, although I believe Smith and Armstead where, at least one of them. Also, old went after defense first and then moved some to offense - Eddie Brown being prime example.
