Miami wins because...

-Our Oline holds up and doesnt fold like in past. Would say TVD but if oline cant hold up and is outclassed early, he will probably not even factor (clemson game was over in first few plays because you saw oline couldnt hold up, wonder how many of same guys on that line)

-We capitalize on Turnovers (They have given gifts on first few games, app st capitalize on both turnovers, we have to do the same)


*Just looked it up, we had 4 of the same olinemen on road in clemson for that 2020 game (Campbell, Jakai, Scaife and Nelson) that game was over because we couldnt do anything upfront, was a baptism. Lets see if these guys have actually grown and what coaching can do. 5 sacks, 11 Tackles for loss, 89 rushing yards on 25 att. Most yards came from King running for his life (84 yards) Other leading rusher Cam Harris had 3 yards on 8 Carries.

I feel like this is the or should be the game plan every week.
 
TVD and our WR's must play a near flawless game. The defense must play light out getting stops, pressure and key turnovers. Our TE's must be incorporated into the game. Double tight sets. The DL must get pressure but not play reckless. Rooster has to get the defense tired with his speed and Thad must finish them off wear them down with hard running. This and a bit of luck wins us the game.
 
Lots of smoke out there on X and injuring his foot maybe out this game. Its on twitter so TFWIW

It's as simple as that for me. He is leagues ahead of A&M QBs and QB is the most important position on the field. If TVD goes out and cements his status as a potential 1st round pick (top 10 pick maybe?) then the game is ours. A&M offense will not be able to keep up with TVD if he lives up to his hype.

Is he gonna audible out of all the running plays being called?

I keep seeing TVD as the reason we are gonna win or lose. Of course how he plays matters a ton, but he can only do as much as the play caller gives him to do.

We dropped back to pass 22 times in the 1st half against SMU. Let's not act like we line up and run the ball 90% of the time.

Keeping him upright was an issue as well. And I don’t buy into the X’s and O’s weren’t an issue thing. If something isn’t working, change it.

They did change. That's why we went run first in the second half and dominated like we should have all game.. Once we did that TVD went 10 of 13 passing in the 2nd half and the passing game was fine.

The dude had an off day. It happens. He had them last year, he'll probably have some in the future.

I don’t think you are understanding what I mean. We had a great opportunity to work on throwing it all over the yard and instead we ran the ball 50 times and TVD did not look comfortable. Unless a miracle happens, that isn’t going to work this weekend. IMO we missed a chance to work on things that have a much better chance of working against better opponents.
