We clearly were trying to work on the throwing game. TVD also clearly didn't have it. If we continued to force the passing game and were in a 17-7 game in the 4th quarter, what's the reaction then?I don’t think you are understanding what I mean. We had a great opportunity to work on throwing it all over the yard and instead we ran the ball 50 times and TVD did not look comfortable. Unless a miracle happens, that isn’t going to work this weekend. IMO we missed a chance to work on things that have a much better chance of working against better opponents.
Switching to the run first attack and dominating wasn't a bad idea.
Now if TVD continues to struggle moving forward, then we can really begin to worry, but I am chalking last week up as him having an off day. If last week's performance becomes a trend, then we worry.
