Solid team. Announcers were hoping for a ND comeback. Three point shooting for the team is bad. I think Malovec is shooting 20% on the road

So far this team has shown a surprising ability to finish close games (I say surprising because we struggle with FTs). I think a lot of that comes down to having a legit PG in Donaldson and a go-to scorer in Reneau who you can count on to get timely buckets. Very proud of this team for being able to finish so effectively, a hard test coming up on Saturday @Clemson, but having 2 ACC road wins this early in the season is nothing to sneeze at.

This color analyst is very annoying
Scott Williams literally remarked in the first half that Marcus freeman may want to throw an NIL deal at Shelton Henderson to get him to play football.
Marcus freeman and not Mario Cristobal, who not only coaches at UM but whose team is playing in the NC game? Could he have made a dumber and more biased comment?

The road game at Clemson is big. Win that and UM should not only be ranked, but should be in the top 20.
And either way, what a great start to the conference season. I still think if UM goes .500 in conference, they will make the NCAA tourney. Well, 4-0 is as good as it gets after 4 games.

I thought Notre Dame played a helluva game, look for them to respond with a vengeance by cancelling their next game at Va Tech

When they say defense and rebounding wins championships, this Miami basketball team embodies that statement to the fullest.
Especially the defensive part.
Feels like 80 points is our magic numbers. I don't think most college teams will score 80 points or more against Miami the way they play defense.
Of course, if Miami can make 10 three point shots then scoring 80 points will be a lot easier for them but they make up for their lack of shooting with a lot of fast break points created by their defense.
I love this product that Coach Jai has brought to Coral Gables.

I agree that .500 in the conference is the goal, especially before the season. Even though we didn't know how good Miami would be nor how good the rest of the conference is.
Now, after two months of watching Miami and the rest of the ACC, were know both are easily better than last season. Maybe even the best conference in the country.
Before conference play started, every ACC team had a winning record with 12 or the 18 teams having 10 or more wins. That's a huge improvement compared to last season.
It's too early to know for sure but it feels like the ACC could get anywhere from 8 to 12 teams in the NCAA tournament. Depending on how many teams are around .500 after March.
As far as Miami, 10 conference wins in 18 conference games definitely gets them into the NCAA tournament. If you wanted to have a strategy on how to get to 10 wins, you would say go 6-3 at home and 4-5 on the road, maybe even 7-2 at home and 3-6 on the road.
With all that being said, Coach Jai has exceeded expectations and now you look at the Clemson game as another big test to understand how good this team really is.
Honestly, I think it's a very winnable game.
Mind you, Clemson is 15-3 and 5-0 in the ACC.
It feels good to feel good about Miami's chances of winning this game.
