CFP is a complete joke. It's a good ole boys club that we're not part of. If you're not in the SEC or BIG you're relegated to being a also ran (with the exception of ND). Scraping by a terrible Auburn team > than any win we could ever have.

I’ll say this. I just looked at the rankings for the first time and digested them.

We know these people don’t really care about anything but money and brand protection. This is all a TV show. There are no “rules”, other than the bluest of blue bloods get the benefit of the doubt.

But I will say this. It will be a REALLY REALLY REALLY bad look, if BYU loses and drops, to have ND 10 and Miami 11 in the final ranking. I know it doesn’t matter. I’ve fully accepted that the sports gods will do any and everything to crush my soul in the most painful way possible. But….can they really do that? Obviously they can (and will). But really?

It’s one thing to have a team at 9 and another at 12 and say head to head matters but it doesn’t come into play. But to have them DIRECTLY NEXT TO EACH OTHER and not flip them?

Anyway….we’re +1000 and ND is -400 for a reason. If the situation was reversed, you know **** WELL they’d flip it. But man…..that would be such an incredibly awful precedent if that’s what they did.

My prediction? Bama loses close, they drop them 1 spot. ND 9, Bama 10, Miami 11. Sorry, head to head doesn’t apply. See ya next year

If they actually valued H2H, we would already be above ND. They’ve had the opportunity to do that for weeks and they haven’t done it. They’ve aren’t suddenly going to have a revelation if we end up right next to each other in the rankings. These people aren’t that smart or logical.
