Miami vs ND On A Collision Course

Is ND in a lose lose situation with BYU? If BYU wins they’ll jump them and make ND the first team out. If BYU loses we jump them and we likely take their spot since we’d be 10 and 11. Is NDs only chance, regardless of BYU winning or losing, to have Bama lose?

I have no faith in the committee doing the right thing, so if we are going to get screwed, rather drag ND down with us.
BYU wins, ND is out too.
Duke wins, the ACC is out too.

Good f’ing luck with your tv ratings with those tasty 1st round matchups with James Madison, UNT and BYU.

Burn it all down.

Even with their stupid group explanations for ignoring H2H, I don’t think they’re suddenly going to stop overlooking us if we end up right below ND. I think they want ND in and no criteria is going to change that, no matter how ridiculous it is to ignore the H2H.

Well they CAN'T ignore the H2H now lol. They will have to discuss it. Their reasoning/explanation might be stupid but they at least will have to talk about it now. That's all I'm saying lol
 
The chair said the last 3 weeks the debate over ND and Bama has been very very strong. They moved Bama ahead of ND. The same Bama over the last 4 weeks who lost to a bad Oklahoma team, struggled against 5 win SC and were losing in the 4th qtr, beat a 3 win FCS team, and beat a 5 win team without a HC by 7 needing to be drug across the finish line by team SEC. We could have been scoring 100 points a game and we would stay at 12. The committee was given marching orders to get 5 or 6 sec teams in…..we are not a sec team. ND lost the faceoff to Bama. Where do you think we rate. You think this is going off who is most deserving?

Load the schedule up with potatoes and win the ******* ACC next year. That’s the only way we’re getting in.

Edit- cancel the ND game especially that late in the season. If we would lose, even if it’s our only loss I wouldn’t trust them not to drop us down to the bubble. Need to go undefeated and win the ACC. Have to think about this strategically.

They do value head to head. That is why OU is ahead of Bama. They aren't going to touch one of their sacred children, Notre Dame.

If Georgia boat races Bama and Texas Tech does the same against BYU, then they are in trouble justifying why both Miami and Notre Dame are both not in.

The only reason to move Bama to #9 after vlowing a 17-point lead against a horrible Auburn team was to protect them.

They didn't need to do that. Why did they do it? Because it is a rstings bonanza for their last playoff selection show. BYU loses Miami is SIDE BY SIDE ND with a head to head win AND better wins against common opponents.

Why blow your load early when you can milk this one more week?

They moved bama in front of ND so that if they lost they could be penalized and drop a spot but still be in the playoff. It had nothing to do with Miami.

If they thought so highly of Notre Dame, they wouldn’t have dropped them a spot

So that when Bama loses to UGA they only have to drop them 1 spot to behind ND and then they serve as the barrier from Miami

… I mean their chance is also purely that the committeee keeps ND ahead of Miami even with H2H

It’s in case bama loses tho SECCG, will slot bama back to 10 and ND to 9, thus eliminating comparison for Miami (which is also rigged)
 
Don't shoot the messenger, but it would be the most Miami thing the past two decades for BYU and Bama to win on Saturday and then next Tuesday the selection committee finally flips us and ND since we are next to each other. And then we are the 1st ones out rather than second

Because there would be pressure to drop Bama (sec #5) out if they lost. This was unless they get beat by 30 they can drop them to #10 and still get them in.
