Many have talked about FSU winning recruiting battle in South Florida if they get Cook, Lane, and Benjamin but the truth is the Canes are blowing them away and its not close. According to this sites recruiting information FSU offered Moten, Thomas ,Langham, Yearby, McDermott, Linder, Bethel, Gibbons, Valentine, Gray, Harris, Darling and Brady. Golden has slaughtered Jimbo in South Florida 13 -3 or 4 depending what Cook and others decide. So there are 13 kids Jimbo thinks could help his Nole team that are Canes and 5 Canes who Saben thinks could play for Alabama. Golden may not get Cook but in no way has he and staff failed on elite talent in South Florida.

Losing Cook and Rudolph to them will hurt badly. I don't know what Lane will do. FSU knows they won't get everyone from down here but they have done a **** good job of picking their spots and they usually hit on those kids. Greene, Joyner, Benjamin, Freeman are big time players. Add in kids like Thomas and possibly the ones from this class and that list is too **** long. Miami has got to get FSU the **** out of SoFla.

Harris and Gibbons aren't S FL kids, and I'm not sure on Brady and Linder having legit offers.

Yearby was a Nole, we stole him. FSU is mostly trying to pick the gator's sunbleached scales now. Cook and Lane are gators right now. If the Noles don't get Cook they have missed out on all three of the top So Fl RBs this year. They are trying for last minute save; our hay, Joe and Brandon, is in the barn. And now that we finally have some real DTs coming in, you can count their feathers. They have Rapist one more year, if he Tally PD continues his protection program. We have real QBs stacked now. Just need the right changes to D. This is their one year; assumming they do not choke against Alburn. If Golden pulls Cook and JC, then he owned both the hick schools this year. Now that Defense .......

its about keeping the best players home obv cook, lane, and TR are tops for their position. we cant recruit the south east at a high level right now so keeping top guys home is the difference in 10 win seasons and NC seasons. especially to a team we play EVERY year

Shouldn't we expect to do better than them in our own backyard?

And I think people are upset because those are 3 of the higher-ranked guys at their positions.

Brady is listed as offer. I don't care where Gibbons is from ,Tampa area i believe, Canes won the battle head to head vs Jimbob on these recruits. Like the other poster said,"If FSU does not get Cook they have failed most of these recruiting battles against Golden and staff. Many posters live by the stats or numbers, these numbers don't lie.

Bingo.

If FSU closes with Cook, Lane, and Rudolph, it'll have added three legit game-changers from SoFLA to it's roster.

I think we're adding some game-changers too, particularly on defense, but losing those three collectively is a failure.

We have failed every year since Howard was here based upon your uncompromising 100% recruitment of talent demand from South Florida.

Nobody is demanding a resolute full lockdown of South Florida.

However, if you don't consider losing arguably three of the top four offensive players in Dade, Broward and WPB counties to an in-state rival that is in the position it's currently in by acquiring these very talents a failure, then so be it. You're entitled to an opinion.

We have horrible Miami fans on this site. We have an elite class ALREADY put together but they are too stubborn to see it. It will be a failure to only bring in Yearby & Powell at RB if we don't get Cook in many fans eyes. No one gets every commit they want, even Alabama missed on Winston in their back year.

First off Lane is a gator so we are talking about two players Cook and Rudolph. Cook is still committed to Florida so Jimbob might get shut out. We got the back Coley wanted in Yearby, he was always first choice. So Cook may go to Fsu but Coley got his guy. Even when Coley was at FSU Yearby was always going be his top RB. Don't kid yourselves about how bad Bama, Florida,FSU all wanted McDermott. Darling right now would be FSU top OL recruit for in this class. Don't think for a second Jimbob didn't hope M. Thomas would have more pull when it came to the B. T. Washigton kids especially C Thomas. To many Canes fans don't appreciate what they have in this class.

No one is saying this class isn't very good but losing elite guys out of our backyard to our biggest rival and fellow ACC school hurts, period. Not to mention adding in the fact that we also lost Sony to UGA.

This is a very good class not elite. Only elite i see in this class is chad and valentine.

yearby a good back but won't be drafted high, moten is very good but not elite. Kc and darling could be 1st-2nd round type guys.

We are missing on a lot of elite guys like 6,collins,cook,lane,rudolph,maybe dixon, cooper.

Most of the guys named fsu wasn't even recruiting. They didn't want bethel cuz his size, valentine cuz of grades, wasn't in it for kc, wasn't recruiting moten that hard and he didn't even visit them.
