Look, this particular poster regularly attacks other UM posters, talks out of his ******, and is generally negative about everything.
I have spoken to several people who are season ticket holders and/or Hurricane Club members who did not receive an e-mail, some of whom are active in the Alumni Association. While it might be the case that spam filters caught the e-mail before you ever saw it, it's also very possible to imagine that the incompetent Athletic Department that "accidentally" sent out an incorrect mass e-mail on the day tickets went on sale to Tier 2 might have also used an incomplete e-mail address file for the original e-mails.
Unfortunately, the disastrous primary sale of game tickets is over, but check with UM to see if any tickets have been refunded and made available once again, and then check on the secondary sites.
