There are definite holes in that Clemson D, I just don't think we'll be able to stop them enough
38-24 Clemson
So we will be no more competitive than Virginia? Armstrong made his second start. One thing I know is we are going to beat Virginia like a drum on the 24th.

I overestimated how terrible FSU was with my last prediction. While I agree we look improved we're not at Clemson's level yet. In addition, our run defense has been awful this year. Clemson is going to expose our terrible LB play. Hopefully, our improved offense we keep us respectable.

Clemson 41
Miami 28
Good, we are going to win. You predicted Louisville and FSU as I recall.

Like I said, their Defense is still solid.

We will see how solid. They’re facing a different animal in Lashlee/King than they did vs UVA. IMO, their LBs are slow AF. Our RBs/TEs should be able to eat against them, and I expect our OL to hold their own against a bunch of Frosh.

I agree with that. I think our Offense scores 30. It won’t be easy though. Question is, can our Defense slow them down?

Can't not pick against Miami in this crazy season—as proven by what the fifth-seeded HEAT are pulling off in the bubble; expect the unexpected.

Virginia's 400+ yards and 23 points were a wake-up call to Clemson and gave Venables and Swinney all the ammo they need to get their guys up for this one.

Miami will have to protect the football, while forcing at least 2-3 turnovers—and have to convert those third downs by all means necessary. Can't have wasted drives out there and can't leave points on the field.

No idea what the score will be, but in this weird football season with upsets galore—we'll go 41-38 with a late Borregales field goal as the difference maker, just for style points on this pick.

I also like Miami's overall toughness in 2020. The Canes bent over for these guys in 2015 and again in 2017. Don't feel that will be the case this time around. It'll be a hard-fought outing no matter who wins.

I also meant close one as in my 17 is wrong. How do we beat them twice realistically?
If we lose we getting the rematch regardless that will put us in the playoffs either way.
I hope we pull it off but my brain says that we not ready for something like that. But anything is possible because of King
