Miami ranked #15 in AP, #18 in Coach's Poll

This sets up nicely...we take care of business the next few games and we're going to stroll into tally undefeated and a top 10 team

Way too high this early. If we take care of business and win easy these next few games, then we deserve that ranking. Everytime we were ranked decent in 2009, the team failed miserably the next game.

negged for nonsense

Miami still has to prove it can beat the teams they should beat yet. My guess is that we will be a probable 4-0 at least and some polls will prematurely rank us too high. I would like to see us crack the Top 25 at this point, but not the Top 20 yet.

Man bump that, we beat the number 12 team in the nation....we're in the top 15 and we can work on beating the teams we're suppose to beat from that position, ***** downplaying in any way what happened yesterday!!!! 🙌🙌

wow 15 is higher than I expected, 5/6 calendar weeks before we play anyone respectable going into UNC (if unc is seen as respectable to some, i believe so because they always find a way to beat us) on 10/17 we could very well be top 8 if things fall our way. SEC opponents will knock off each other, Texas A&M should drop this week, not to mention, Clemson and Florida State play that same weekend we play UNC. Sets us up great for the rest of the season

I agree...but hopefully tis coaching staff stay in these players heads, unlike the ones in 09

It's not about too high or low, it's about getting it through to our boys, unlike what Shannon did, that we ain't there yet and have a long road to go.

We have a guy who can manage the expectations for once, so the whole "too high too early," I understand it, but Golden's got that under lock down.

Be prepared for a lot of people who didn't watch the game to argue that UF was overrated and Miami doesn't deserve the spot.

F**k 'em

Golden's mantra is being the same guy everyday, listen to the kids interview after the game and you know they have taken to it. I have 0.0001 ounce of concern about how high we are ranked. I want to be ranked. When recruits see the number by our name on ESPN...it makes a difference. So there is upside to it

When's the last time we were top 10

2005? Maybe? I dunno.

Nevermind, I just remembered we were Top 10 before CJ Spiller and Jacoby Ford came to Sun Life in '09

Spiller and Ford had less to do with that debacle as Corch Radio.
