Miami Players sign as UDFAs

Scott, Waters, and Kamalu makes the practice squad in MIA, Houston, and Green Bay

Calvin is going to have to fight big time in camp, they signed 5 UDFA guys at DL already

I don't see Tracy lasting to long in Cleveland's camp, he's going to a roster that holds Joe Haden, Tramon Williams, Justin Gilbert, Pierre Desir, and K'waun Williams. All but K'waun and Tramon are high draft picks of theirs and all started games last year plus they drafted a CB as well.

Now Tyriq is the one with the best shot at the 53 out of all of them and will contribute as well. He should've been rushing the passer here instead of dropping back into coverage and he won't need to worry about coverage in Pittsburgh like he did here

Gilbert has been a big bust for them

Surprisingly Denver Kirkland the lineman from Arkansas went undrafted... Should have stayed in school

yea but he's only two years in and the new regime will probably like to see what Horton can do with him

I like Kamalu and McCord as sleepers out of that group. Herb working with A-Aron intrigues me too.

Plus it's a new regime.

100% in agreement with this except for Herb, who may make the practice roster but I think that's about it...Kamalu learning from JJ may be just what he needed...

Tired of hearing about him. All this butt hurt on this board for 3 years over an undraftable lineman. These Miami 3.0 fans have been scarred by Randy and Golden.

Hurns was an unreal story. Goes undrafted and then scores 2 TD's in week 1 and makes instant impact. Hopefully some of these guys can contribute quickly.

Any update on Dallas? He has to at least get invited to a mini-camp right? Freaking Joe Thomas did last year.

The NFL is bugged out how that duke safety Jeremy cash didn't get drafted or rashawn Scott he killed jalen Ramsey

Howard should make the Browns team - having Duke there should help him out. Kamalu is a beast and will make Texans. Calvin can clog up the middle in Denver but they have a solid DL. Hope he can at least make the practice squad.

Per Reports...

* CB Tracy Howard signs with Browns..

* DT Calvin Heurtelou signs with Broncos...

* DL Ufomba Kamalu signs with Texans...

*WR Herb Waters signs with Green Bay....

*LB Tyriq McCord signs with Pittsburgh...

Doesn't Burns going in the 1st round kinda murder the ol' "Tracy Howard wasn't utilized properly" argument?

I have a feeling Scott will do something similar. Maybe not quite the impact Hurns had but I believe he's too good not to be drafted. How do you abuse the top CB in the draft but then go undrafted?

Waters is a guy that will find a way to stick around. Would love to see him tryout at as a CB.

Would have to be on another team, dolphins wr core stacked

Of this group, I'd say Kamalu probably has the best chance to stick in the league. He's got a lot of characteristics teams look for in a 3/4 end.

I think Scott and Waters can find success but neither of them showed the consistency Allen Hurns showed as a senior. They can make plays but wide receivers with inconsistent hands who aren't particularly fast or big are a dime a dozen.

McCord is going to an ideal situation in Pitt but it's going to be hard to make the roster as a one dimensional reserve linebacker. He's going to have to make an impact on special teams.

I always cheer for our guys to make NFL teams but being honest, it's hard for me to see Howard or Heurtelou playing in the NFL. I understand Howard got shafted by sub par coaching but Artie Burns was getting the exact same coaching and he got drafted in the first round. Maybe he can land in the right scheme where he can showcase what he does well without being exposed too much for what he doesn't do well.
