Miami opens at -18.5 vs USF

If our DTs and LBers play smart football I think we blast them. We will be able to run the ball against them, and I don't think they're going to have much success hurrying Beck.

For this game would like to see more Justin Scott snaps and less Moten, and more Popo and less Toure. If Bonner isn't a go, would like to see Pruitt get LBer-4 snaps instead of Chase against USF.

Florida went away from the run early. They were going right through them and would just keep throwing not sure why other than Billy is a idiot.
 
We out weigh them across both OL and DL; just pin our ears back on both sides of the ball and get this dub. We should be able to run for 200yds on their defensive front and LBs.

USF isn’t a cupcake. But they barely scored against uf. They played all out. They shouldn’t have the depth or the gas in the tank to go against another and better p5 team on back to back games.

They scored 18 points against a defense that shouldn’t be better than ours.
So unless they’re gonna shut our offense down this shouldn’t be close and it definitely shouldn’t be a shootout.
And if it is, then we got issues that are going to be difficult to fix and exploited by better teams with more mobile qb’s like fspoo.

I get your point in general though. College football is goofy and they’ll probably be a pain in the ***, but we should be able to pull away

This goes to my post earlier.
USF is losing the games down to down.

But they keep winning the turnover battle (which has a lot of luck to it).
And they have been able to limit explosives on defense while getting enough of them on offense to make up for the lack of down to down success.

Miami just needs to continue being efficient down to down, and limit USF’s explosives (or add in some of our own to counter balance it).

That’s a heck of a spread. Would not bet it if I were a gambler. On the other hand we crushed them last year despite them figuring our DBs out. That QB just isn’t that good of a passer. So go single high safety and man at CB, load the box and stop the run, and it’s game over.

Another game for Scott to be the impact player. He makes a great spy because he’s not afraid to lay the wood.

Bovada has -17.

This team can’t hold up against either of our lines and their QB can’t throw. I expect us to control both lines of scrimmage and if you give Beck time, he’s going to eat. Let’s hope Jojo and Lyle are full go. They’re not stopping our offense at full strength and we’re not giving up 30+ to them in our building.

Just don’t turn the ball over and we win comfortably.
