My thing is if we commits elsewhere do we hold 1 safety spot for him if we have say A-Allen plus say his teammate Weldon wanting to commit and shut it down. Be interesting to see how coach TRob handles this if KWilson commits to Texas.

Pretty well when we put forth the effort.

We currently have Jahfari Harvey from the Vero Beach/Ft. Pierce area & had Pat Bethel from their too recently.

Historically we got Kenny Holmes & James Stewart from Vero as well.

We also got Ryan McNeil back in the day from Ft. Pierce Westwood which is the school that Kamari used to go to before he transferred to IMG & another 2022 CB target James Monds III currently goes there too.

Former Hurricane Baseball player & who was a really good catcher Charles Johnson was from Ft. Pierce too.

Whether it’s soon or much later in they year, I definitely think he’s committing to Miami.

The key will be to get him to sign with Miami, that will be dependent on how hard we go after him throughout the year, if OV’s are allowed later in the Summer/Fall & how the season goes.

One thing people should have learned by now is never get too caught up on early Spring recruiting, Miami is literally the King of Feb-April recruiting & yes we did a good job signing some really good Blue chippers in the 21 class too, but you just have to remember there are still no in person visits happening & a lot of shìt can change between now & September.

Ultimately when it’s all said & done Miami will have as good a shot as anybody, we’ll see what happens.

If the rumor is true that we’re in contact with Jamar Chaney to be our next LB’s coach, then that would help tremendously with Kamari.

Jamar is from Ft. Pierce, he went to HS at St. Lucie West Centennial which is the same area as Kamari & was the assistant recruiting director at UF last year & is an Analyst at Miss St right now, he’s the main one who was recruiting Kamari for both UF & Miss St.

Having TRob & Jamar Chaney (if we hire him) recruiting Kamari Wilson would all but guarantee we land this kid, unless Bama or some other school just dropped off an astronomical bag lol
