Miami missed 29 tackles yesterday..

Clemson player punches someone = Dabo gives him the third degree, then rides the bus home With time to think.
Bama player misses assignment = gets his **** hole ripped by Saban right on the sideline, then rides the pine.
Miami player misses assignment = crickets, then gets to dance with headphones on.

Diaz, when asked about the near top talents’ performance on field, “It’s a rebuild.” Lmao!

DJ Ivey, 4 Star when recruited, now plays worse than a walk on. He and many other players have regressed because coaching, besides teaching technique, is also about motivating, encouraging, disciplining, game planning, and putting players in the right position to be effective. Right position also involves film watching and preparing for all possible scenarios. If Ivey is ignoring all of the above, make him leave the program, he’s then a cancer on the team.

But it’s okay, Its not the coaches’ fault, it’s the kids who have to self coach, self prepare, self motivate, and perform like 5stars at Clemson and Bama. Yeah, right. This corching staph has probably given MR the heart attack with their incompetence! All of you defending this abortion of a corching staph are part of the problem.

I blame the tackling dummy on being too soft. It should be made to offer more resistance when being tackled. AKA, how much time is used during practice to teach the art of tackling? By now, most of these players have been playing competitive football since they were playing in Pop Warner. Have they forgotten everything they were taught at the different levels they played at?

How do you not prepare, of fail to see the kids are not prepared, before facing a 1-5 team? ****me!

You tell any current or former player anywhere you missed 29 tackles because of the coaches and see how well that conversation goes.
Yeah no ****...hopefully none of these guys want to play in the NFL. Because that kind of **** might get you one year, and then you're...well...Antonio Brown.

Well said. But why is it all one or the other? The staff is a god **** trainwreck, but the players don't get a free pass because of that either. Some of our players have been just as much of a disgrace with THEIR PLAY as our staff has been with their coaching.

The way I was taught tackling was...the first guy has to tackle ball carrier like he's the only one in the world that can make tackle, and the other 10 guys have to pretend like the first guy can't tackle for $h!t.

Why would a team give up after beating a good Virginia team? Makes no sense to give up then

This isn't that complicated: once they were faced with some adversity they quit. What does Virginia have to do with it? 29 missed tackles is a lack of effort. 29 missed tackles is a team that has quit.

Oh yeah: Virginia sucks.

Can't believe it's only 29. Thought we topped that in 2nd half, alone. Multiple plays where 3-4 guys missed tackles.

Well that should be easy to teach, this team doesn’t have to pretend the first guy can’t tackle.

I agree. But those making millions off this program, need to do their jobs. They are first in line to be held accountable for this defection on field. Sometimes, setting an example of one guy, will get the attention of the rest. There has to be a precedent, but our HC would rather wear cleats first, than man up.
