Guess we got a cat
OkHas he? 5* OL in his 3rd season splitting reps at LG. If that's "good," then "good" isn't good enough.
Besides, my point was it's easy to find an exception where someone who dominates lesser comp goes to college and continues to dominate. But every year there are also kids who fail when they step up in competition.
That said, in Bowers' case you had a lot more data suggesting he'd be fine with the step up in competition. Yeah, he went to school in Napa, but besides having exceptional height/weight/speed and dominating late, he had a lot going for him. Excellent athletic pedigree with both his mother and father being very good college athletes. Bowers went to camps and showed out at Nike (against real competition). He also played football for multiple seasons, and he had absolutely crazy production in high school.
