Someone explain to me how that wasn't a penalty.
The rules analyst said it had to be crown of the helmet for it be a penalty
It was crown of the helmet.
What am I missing?
You're missing being a Notre Dame fan. Textbook targeting, letter of the law, obvious to everyone, and yet it wasn't at Notre Dame in South Bend.
Targeting is a good rule, sometimes players get caught when the ball carrier lowers their helmet, and we've been the offending player here and there. Not intention, but still m'fing targeting.
Okay, bed, son told me not to give up on the game, still waking up at 5. It's his game, so he better perform.
