Miami Hurricanes 2016-2017 schedule

That schedule is perfect for Coach Richt and Coach Diaz to implement their systems and get the required practice time before having to play the ACC.

7 wins, really?

10 wins at minimum, book it

Haha I appreciate your optimism, friend, but 10 wins would be quite a jump

We're not at Clemson, FSU, UNC, or Notre Dame's level in the ACC as it stands today. Fact is we can't recruit the kind of depth they are able to recruit

This was an 8 win team last year. We have big ??? at multiple positions aside from QB

I think ppl should be more realistic w their expectations and support the team

Unc has no depth and are lacking talent at every level on defense. Unc does not recruit on miami level and we have more talent than them. Fsu barely beat golden the last 2 years and you don't think richt can beat them? This team definitely has enough to win 10 games.

Exactly. They just lost their best player and most important player, marquise Williams the qb

Notre dame also lost 5 players to the draft and several more valuable players to graduation. Everyone said this past year was Brian Kelly's best shot at a championship becuase so many were leaving

Notre Dame will be tough but we are better than unc and we don't play Clemson

Yep Big ???? everywhere
QB- Kaaya--started 2 years already, coming back after working under Richt for an offseason
RB- Yearby--1000 yard rusher, Walton--Showed good promise in different roles as a freshman, Edwards--back off injury, Gray--Richt likes big backs, may be the best "runner" in the whole group if he can hold onto the ball, and Homer-- likely a RS but bluechip recruit
WR-Coley--Coming off a solid year, one of the most gifted receivers in the country. Cager, Lewis, Berrios, and NSD (Bruce, Mullins, Richards?, Williams? and another 1 or 2)
TE- All 4 return including Njoku, possibly the best TE in the ACC, one of the most gifted athletes in the country. Add Mike Irvin Jr
OL- Return 14 deep on the OL. Lost only Joe Brown. Talent is there, gets another year in the weightroom, new coach, scheme, etc

DL- AQM, Chad Thomas, Gerald Willis, all high end 4 or 5 stars. Demetrius Jackson, Patchan, Harris fill in at end. Moten, Jenkins, Norton at Tackle. New scheme, can finally showcase their talent. All are physically ready. Add Joe Jackson, Bethel, and etc on NSD.
LB-Grace and Young were the 2 best in 2015. Owens returns off injury, was starter at the beginning of the year. Shaq, Zach, and Mike are here for depth, all enrolled early. Add in Gordinier, McCray, and Smith as role players/contributors
CB-Elder is top 3 in the conference. One of the highest rated corners in cfb in 2015. Redwine is ready to play, should be solid. Coaches spoke highly of Mike Jackson-Kerr in the fall. Similar to Redwine. Add in who we get on NSD.
S-Jenkins is back for his RS senior year. Veteran ball hawk, has started 3 of his 4 years that he's played. Jamal Carter, one of the most physical safties in the country. When that light bulb clicks, watch out. Jaquan Johnson- One of the headiest players on the team. Contributed as a true freshman, ready to step in at Nickel, does a little of everything. Could be starter or role player. Add NSD for depth.

Not seeing all the question marks you speak of. We win at least 9, beat any of ND, FSU, UNC and we are a 10 win team. None of the other teams on the schedule should be a real threat to us at all. Gun to the head guess for me is 10-2, play in the ACCCG, good bowl game, and maybe end up with 11 wins. 10-4 all together or 11-3. Similar season to what UF did this year, except we actually have a QB that will win the easy ones and maybe pull off another win or 2.

Did the Staff Writers on this site go to FSU? I am dumbfounded by the amount of grammatical errors written by these guys.

So we don't play a real game until Week 5. What an embarrassment

Thanks Al for scheduling cupcakes.

Hopefully Richt can have these guys ready for the big games

Have to expect at least nine wins. I think Miami can beat everyone on that schedule but Notre Dame. Expect a slip-up or two. 10-2 would be outstanding for Richt's first year and I think that is definitely possible. That trip up to Boone scares the crap out of me though. Cannot lose that game for perception and confidence.

@De Pinga

I'm at Scarletts RIGHT NOW. Come meet me, if you want to get your teeth knocked out.

I'll kick your *** up and down that parking lot then buy you a lap dance bro

Despite that crappy UNC to VT turnaround time, that's a 10 win schedule if I've ever seen one. Should start 4-0 with 3 warm up games before getting FSU at home. 2014 was a wicked environment until Golden and crew ran out of bullets (or stopped shooting).
