Miami herald buzz 11-10

Shalalalalalala was embarrassed by the Shapiro scandal. She knows it was her sloppy ****** that, in the end, allowed the abuses.

She then wanted to prove that Miami was finished disirregardlesss of her negligence. Therefore Butch Davis could never be her head football coach because he would prove that even her negligence couldn't hold the U down.

I literally hate Shaala even more after this... Soo thankful she's gone even more of a disease than golden was

A UM official said a bunch of additional candidates, including perhaps some surprises, are expected to surface because this will be a true national search with inquiries made to some perceived to be out of reach. But there is no front-runner at this point.

I'm happy to hear all of that. And the Herald's comment about this truly being a national search echoes what DMoney has said, which is exactly what needs to happen.

Barry Jackson is the only guy in the mainstream media getting real Miami info.

And Paul DiMare is a tycoon who cares deeply about Miami football. He has my respect and the respect of anyone paying attention.

You confuse caring and hurting.

I am sure he cares that we win and perform well (i.e. He wants to get the best possible coach).

He can hurt because he has no clue what we need or how to evaluate a coach (i.e. His input on the program since 2005 has resulted in utterchit).

You can respect whoever you want but him, Epstein, Miller and Fain are utter trash and micromanagers.
 
Gary Pinkel would like to get out of Missouri. Tubby''s offense at Cininnati would work at UM and we know Tubby will bring the defense. At this point I like Butch and Tubby.

Agreed, I think we all want something to happen ASAP so we can finally turn the page from this failed regime but in this case patience will pay dividends, that (hopefully) means that we are doing our due diligence and making the right decision. I hope, anyway. We won't be able to talk to some of the guys on the list until bowl season...

I'm thrilled to hear that there are mystery surprise names in consideration and that interest is so strong...definitely makes it harder to play the waiting game as a fan though
