He isn’t firing off dumb comments — adidas does some good stuff. But your point stands they should be producing some new options.

Bc its ******* stupid. Not attacking you. But just in my opinion black is not a primary color of ours and we've had terrible performance trying to wear stuff that isn't our uniform.

And I believe I heard a former player say we should never **** with the helmet. Forgive me for not remembering who. But our helmet should never change.

In theory that **** doesn't matter. But ya gotta wonder. To be fair I feel like we have the talent and mental makeup in this current team to make sure that **** doesn't matter. But even if we win by 30 I still think we should only wear our Miami Hurricane colors with our helmet

/if you told me we had a clean black on black with white numbers with our U on the jerseys with little orange and green highlights AND our white helmet . . . Alright I'm listening
 
Until the early parts of 2020 and so far the start of this year, VT/ND back to back was the peak of the last 20 years.

While I prefer the traditional, any place any time mentality
while wearing whatever, just beat the guy across from you for 60 minutes.

i'd say 2017 is still the peak, we got smoked in the 4th game of 2020 so we never really had a chance to get our hopes real high

This is ONE THOUSAND PERCENT an adidas issue.

I have posted extensively on the Nike/adidas thread about these problems.

On the Hurricanes Team Store, there are EXACTLY ELEVEN black items of clothing.



1. The JERSEY appears to be this year's jersey. Because it has the number 24 on the jersey. However, I have seen this jersey pictured two very different ways, across all online retailers (HTS, UM Bookstore, AllCanes, CanesWear, Fanatics). I can't even include adidas, because the adidas website still shows a GRAMBLING University jersey. I posted all the screenshots on the Nike/adidas thread.

2. The adjustable foam trucker hat is also the 2024 model, because it has the perforated orange stripe that matches the perforated orange numbers on the jersey above.



That's it. Those are the ONLY new items that adidas has delivered.



3. The long-sleeve 1/4 zip performance jacket is not new.

4. The sleeveless t-shirt is not new and is pretty generic for a UM t-shirt.

5. The women's stadium 7/8 Aeroready leggings are not new.

6. The full zip jacket is not new.

7. The 2022 (whoops, let's flip this to 2023) jersey is not new.

8. The corresponding 2022/2023 Miami Nights trucker hat is not new.

9. The UM sweatpants are generic and not new.

10. The UM women's leggings are generic and not new.

11. The OTHER trucker hat is really the 2023 Miami nights trucker hat and is not new.



Please share with Harry that these are incredibly disappointing results. adidas is a TERRIBLE merchandise partner. For the record, I already own three of the items listed in numbers 3 through 11 above. I am unlikely to buy the two items that are women's clothing (no jokes necessary at this point), and I'm not going to buy the jackets or sweatpants, I live in the South.

And no man in his 50s should be buying sleeveless t-shirts under any circumstances.

I did make a recent HTS purchase. I will support Harry as long as he is in business.

BUT ADIDAS SUCKS.

It's time. Win the next 8 games and sign a deal with Jordan Brand. This annual merchandise nonsense is getting out of hand, no matter how many adidas fanboys want to rhapsodize about finally getting the jersey right in Year 10 of the deal.

Not disagreeing with you but they do have the new coaches 1/4 zip that I’m 99% sure is new to this season. I bought the black one with short sleeves a few weeks back on Fanatics (only because they didn’t have it in long sleeve) but it appears Harry has it in long sleeve now. I like the collar/zipper design with the orange on one side and green on the other. Same one Guidry wears. This is the first adidas item I’ve purchased in 3 years though.

Cam and the leadership council have a say in what we wear. If cam wants to wear purple, we ride. If he and the guys want to wear black, we black out
