The problem with our schedule is we are in the ACC.... quite possibly the most boring conference in football.

Miami is in the Southeastern USA. We should join the SEC.

Yeah, Wagner looks like a UF type of non-con opponent. Not a good look there. But UAB, the Spartans and Temple is a solid lineup.

There are some scenarios where it could be a really tough schedule. If Virginia coach keeps improving that team, if Briles junior can help FSU turn around, if Fuente delivers on his reputation at Va Tech, we could end up facing multiple Top 20 teams.

Miami shouldnt be playing home and home vs teams like Temple. We could benefit more playing a team like Rutgers where at least there's a recruiting benefit from it.

Or do home and home vs lower tier power five schools like Vandy, Arkansas, Norwesthern etc..

2020 we have duke, fspoo, unc, and Pitt at home. we play at wake forest as the cross division game
2021 we play nc state at hard rock as the cross division game
2022 we play at Clemson as the cross division game

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football program announced Wednesday that it has finalized its nonconference schedule for the 2020 season.

The Hurricanes will host three nonconference opponents at Hard Rock Stadium during the month of September, and travel to Michigan State on Sept. 26.

Miami will kick off the 2020 campaign by hosting Temple on Sept. 5. The former BIG EAST Conference rivals last met in 2005, a 34-3 Hurricanes win. UM leads the all-time series, 13-1.

Miami will then host Wagner on Sept. 12, the first meeting between the schools. On Sept. 19, the Hurricanes host UAB, also for the first time in school history.

The Hurricanes then head to East Lansing, Mich., for their first meeting with the Spartans since 1989. Miami leads the all-time series with MSU, 4-0. This will mark UM’s first regular season game against a Big Ten opponent since a 2015 win over Nebraska.

Meh, can't worry about the future. They'll probably just decommit anyway.

Wagner, UAB, and Temple. You could create an all-star team from those three schools and we would still win by 5 touchdowns.

Blake needs to go. He came up through the ranks from the ticket office side, and he couldn't even run a decent 3-day UM-UF ticket sale process. He is even worse on the OOC scheduling side.

We have one of the worst ADs in Power 5.

Jeezus. Of all the reasons to fire Blake, the OOC home games is not one. Clem$on plays like Woeford every year and we're *****ing about this kinda crap. We're playing UF, Baga, Mich St., L$U, etc. Stop pretending like it's still 1989, kids.

Sure miss those schedules we had in the 80s&early 90s.had some great games then .we actually took on the best teams college football 🏈 had to offer.6-0 vs #1 ranked teams.something ***boys dabo(clemson) and saban(bama) can't claim.or anyone else.

Y’all understand that Savannah State = Wagner, yes?

I get it’s a ****** schedule, but all this for Wagner? I guarantee if it was Temple, UAB, Mich St and Savannah State or Bethune there’d be 10% of the uporar. Temple has had a better program than Miami the past 5 years, if people hadn’t noticed. On the road against a upper Big 10 team. UAB went 11-3 and won a bowl game last year. It’s an average P5 OOC schedule, at worst.

Wagner actually had a better record than Savannah State last year and played in a better conference. The game will be 70-0, of course, but every P5 plays an FCS team every year. Quit crying.
