The idea that flying a banner is an acceptable means of "doing something" is pathetic. ****'s sake, I've already said it...instead of flying banners, put your money where your mouth is and start a drive to buy out a portion of Golden's contract. Flying a banner won't do ****. Organize yourselves and do something that the admin will actually listen to. This banner stunt is amateur-hour, high-school level pranksterism at best. Be adults, for ***** sake.

Wow! Someone who doesn't like the banner that actually thinks of other ways to protest. Amazing! Are you sure you just don't want to endlessly criticize and just call everyone a moron?

That's not a bad idea, ****, that's the only other idea. Unfortunately, we'd be lucky to raise a percent of what the buyout is. So I don't know how realistic that is.

A march like Michigan fans did would do. Or protesting outside of wherever it is Golden has his Monday night interviews would also work.

Telling people to check the recent trends in order to show that South Florida talent is overrated (57 players drafted from South Florida in the last 3 years), admitting that you had to make up a new screen name on here, and then misreading a quote and lying about it. Michigan fans marched because of the fact that the coach treated an injured player poorly, contributing to that player getting injured worse. They didn't march because the coach lost games. Marching just because the coach loses games is just as silly and pointless as flying a banner.

As far as raising money for Golden's buyout, I've already posted about this. You don't have to raise the whole amount. No one expects UM fans to come up with a few million dollars. All I'm saying is a couple thousand fans put in 10, 20, 50, 100 bucks apiece (let's say average 50 apiece). 2k X 50 = 100k.

If you can get the guys who are contributing (or SAY they're contributing) to fly a banner to instead put that money towards something useful, then you have a start.

The admin will listen to people who put 100k on the table.

They won't listen to people who pitch a tantrum and fly banners.
