Adding a great safety will help prevent 41-38 type losses. However no amount of defensive talent will prevent 13-10 type losses. At that point the offense needs to do something.

Exactly, our secondary last season was minus 2 - 3 and we lost 3 games. So making the secondary complete is at least a plus 2 in my opinion. We won’t be as dynamic on offense but neither will we have to be with a better defense.

You're so wrong. He changes alot, provides experience (canes insight loves experience). He's a leader, ball hawk, great tackler. Not to mention that he has a cane attitude. Play maker , swag and helps the team culture, especially a impact player with a voice that will be a leader on the defense. Everybody will have a positive impact from him.
