Maybe if we looked better than WF for more than half the game?

Would not have mattered. Ole Miss was going to jump ahead of us even if we'd one that game 100-0, and no one ranked ahead of us lost.
Bingo. Never ceases to amaze me how little ball outside of Miami our fans actually watch.

ND won their game by 17 and they struggled too. Why didn’t they drop. Wake is better than MSU
The Media loves them..beating one of the worst teams in the country by 17 was "gutsy"

All told, I’m not surprised. Various refrains in the past have been, “Beat the teams you’re supposed to”, “Win and they’ll come”, so on and so forth. I guess the new one is play like you’re supposed to (or they’ll drop you faster than a dime).

Do not really agree with new rankings but hopefully it serves as a motivator for players and staff. Get healthier and fix this interior OL and we will be fine wherever they rank us.

Miami is going to have to slog through their schedule and beat whom they are supposed to beat and do so outside the spread to get any favors from these people.

Winning at South Bend will be mandatory. JMHO. The Committee will want to make up for ******** the Irish last year.
That’s a given! They will do anything to keep Miami out the playoffs.

Take the names away… #8 beats #7 at home by 8 points and they jump 4 spots?

If you are a rational Miami fan you see the cracks. Unfortunately they are cracks that will not allow Miami to win it all this year. We are a second tier SEC team from years past or the best seriously flawed PAC 10 team you remember from back in the day.
The D is barely above average.
The O is explosive with undersized guys everywhere (Fletcher is the exception).
One win in the playoffs will be a great year.
