It was absolutely jarring and incredible. How you stop a 200+ lb RB with one outstretched desperate arm?grabbed him with 1 f**king hand!!!!
Miami is getting a big body back on the defensive line.
Defensive lineman Ahmad Moten will return for the 2026 season, giving the Hurricanes a proven piece up front. The South Florida native has been a steady part of Miami’s defensive line, helping both against the run and getting after the quarterback.
InsideTheU was first to report the news.
Moten, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 325 pounds, finished last season with 31 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Over three seasons at Miami, Moten has put up 51 total tackles and 5.5 sacks, plus an interception in 2023.
His return gives Miami experience and size in the middle of the defensive line heading into 2026.
and not just any 200 lb RB....Indiana RBs were running through guys all year/all playoffs including our game. When he did that with one arm, I was in awe similar to you.It was absolutely jarring and incredible. How you stop a 200+ lb RB with one outstretched desperate arm?
I was floored live. I thought I misperceived something.
The Indiana center said that Miami was best D Line they played all year and said that was the most physical game he’s ever played in and he was dealing with Moten most of the time.Losing Moten might just have been a bigger loss than Mesidor or Bain. We do have solid guys ready to step up at DE. We've got nothing after Moten.
Thisif he hit the portal, he would have been a top 3 player
So great to see how much this kid has progressed and become a dominant DT.
He put in the work and stayed the course, and now he is set to position himself next season as THE premier DT in all of college football.
True success story that we should be proud of.
JT is a great coach with the DEs but Damione Lewis works with the DTs. I can understand why the national broadcasters highlight JT but we got to give props to Coach Lewis alsoJT is becoming as good a coach as he was a player. Says a lot about him as well.
