Strange fanbase sometimes
Everyone hated on Bain all year last year but now keep calling him a first round pick
OJ had one bad game at the end of the year and our fans sometimes treat him like an afterthought
Probably because he was a 3 star
I didn't prove your point; he just had a higher PFF because he was targeted more. Look at the numbers. I don't think you understand what you're looking at. He only gave up 14 catches for the season. Do you understand how rare that is?Thanks for proving my point, Moore had a better year. And ND didn't have a top 5 def. That's not bashing OJ, just facts. I hate ND so would love nothing better than for OJ to outperform this dude and with better coaching this year I think he will.
Well, so much for statistical analysis.By statistical analysis, OJ was literally a top-five cornerback in the nation. He doesn't have to compete with anyone; his numbers speak for themselves.
It’s the duality of Bain that gets me thoughNah, it's just because this fanbase is made up of, mostly, uneducated and miserable individuals, so the desire to **** on kids far outweighs the desire to hype them up.
Obviously not all. We have plenty of people who are in the kid's corner and will tell you they're better than they actually are. But that's not the majority. The majority waits for every aspect of the program to fail so they can be first in line to tell you how badly they suck. Really odd bunch.

In 2024, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team's defense was ranked #4 in the nation for scoring defense, allowing just 15.5 points per game. They also ranked #1 in the country for defensive takeaways withYou're basing your point on feelings, not stats. Here's the data. Moore's team had a top-5 defense, and they weren't as messy as we are.
CB Leonard Moore: 87.1 PFF
coverage grade, 23 receptions allowed for 272 yards and two touchdowns on 52 targets. Two interceptions.
------------------------------
CB OJ Frederique: 75.8 PFF coverage grade, 14 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns allowed on 38 targets. One interception.
You mean the kind of dip****s who turn a discussion about any other coach into how much they hate Mario?Nah, it's just because this fanbase is made up of, mostly, uneducated and miserable individuals, so the desire to **** on kids far outweighs the desire to hype them up.

The only thing week is this response OJ played horrible down and stretch. You must be his cousin.Well hopefully kid ain’t weak minded like you

It’s the duality of Bain that gets me though
But you’re correct I don’t like to use the minority to make a point but just been a strange few months
Just a thought, but do you think maybe their is less to be said when the overall agreement is the same? For example how many ways can you discuss how good landing a talent like Cantwell is? Not much arguing takes place in a thread like that. Whereas varying opinions typically generate more view points.I don't think it's the minority, honestly.
Just look at this site. The threads about "bad news" get MUCH more traffic and interaction than the ones about good news. This isn't a perfect comparison by any means, but just as one small example, the Dereon Coleman commitment thread has 36 pages since last July.
The Isaiah Horton transfer thread has 46 pages since December.
And also, this is on a forum of supposed massive Canes fans. What kind of *** clown would live on this site like we do if they weren't a MASSIVE, die-hard fan. So this place *should* be representative of bigger fanboys than other places. Like a facebook group, or actual real life. So if this place is just itching to pounce on any molecule of negativity, how's the rest of society?
Again, the miserable are not the minority. IMO.

Is this a hot take?
With Keionte Scott, Ethan O'Conner, Chuck Brantley, Xavier Lucas now in the mix, it wouldn't be surprising if OJ loses his yob when camp begins a couple months from now.
Nah you just soft. I know you definitely never played any sports with that soft shît. Who gone quit on their career because they had a bad game as a freshman gtfoThe only thing week is this response OJ played horrible down and stretch. You must be his cousin.
It is because Scott and Brantley are playing nickel and have no effect on oj. And unless O’Connor is just flat out better than him oj will startIs this a hot take?

Actually having CB depth where we can truly rotate a top 5 or 6 guys will be such a major benefitIt is because Scott and Brantley are playing nickel and have no effect on oj. And unless O’Connor is just flat out better than him oj will start

Yes all 6 guys will playActually having CB depth where we can truly rotate a top 5 or 6 guys will be such a major benefit
