Miami-Dade County

I responded to your dumbass post earlier and you immediately pivoted to discrediting the very survey you were using as evidence, but anyway. We can take a look back at this next April when Sellers isn’t off the board day 1.
And you can’t recognize that you did the same. No self awareness.

“Mock drafts at this time of year are meaningless”

**Mock draft doesn’t have Sellers in the top 10**

“LOL where he at?? Told you he wasn’t top 10 LOL”

Ummmm……..

This thread clearly shows who wanted Mendoza this offseason and who didn’t. Those that didn’t are still in the paint lol. Mendoza would eat behind this OL
to be honest, i could eat behind this line and the best i've ever done is win a few flag football games as the quarterback

I know this is hard for you so let me spell it out. I couldn’t give a single **** about a mock draft, a scout survey, or anything else of the sort at this point in the season. Not a one. Whether it “validates” my opinion or not.

However, you clearly do (but only when it validates your opinion, apparently). Me mentioning that Sellers isn’t in the first round of a stupid CBS mock draft in September was strictly making fun of you.

Hope that helps.

Mendoza is a good player but let’s relax a second and let the season play out. Beck had a bad game and all of a sudden a guy we could have targeted is King ****? People were saying Beck will be #1 again after ND. I mean cmon with the weekly glazing.
Bingo. The Mendoza talk is crazy. I get hes from Columbus and he's far outperformed expectations BUT..lets revisit this in December. And put me down for Beck WAY higher than Mendoza in NFL draft.

The best offensive player in America (Jeremiah Smith), the best defensive player (Rueben Bain), and the player with the best Heisman odds (Fernando Mendoza) are all from Miami.

The overall talent in South Florida has been declining lately, but these things tend to go in cycles. Hopefully, we get an upswing now that the Canes are in a position to truly sweep up the best of the best.

Any concerns with FSU taking a bunch of Miami-Dade and broward kids that are not ranked as high? I believe the slot kid at Chaminade is the only one we wanted. I mean half the class is 3* kids from our area

That guy is a clown. Mental issues or he is just trolling to get a reaction. Either way, he is not worth a response

seriously this. he hasnt seen a single secondary nearly even close to ND or UF. on top of that, our other G5 game ended up against a ranked team who had beaten two prior ranked teams b2b with a 2 hour rain delay.

ND passing D got shredded by Texas A&M and Purdue did a decent job the first half.

Holy crap, Anthony Lucas sighting. Really wanted that dude coming out of HS - glad he turned it around
Only 2 career sacks both this year. I wonder why they have him going first round. Maybe he has some crazy physical tools? Haven’t really seen him play.

Have a feeling Fernando drops down. IU/iowa 13/13 stats suck

Just took the lead with 1:28 left. He has made some NFL throws in the face of pressure.

Top 15 QB, not heisman level. we will see that when he plays the real teams. We have the ring holding QB on the roster. We should be happy to have someone with that championship who knows what it takes and wants to get another. Respect the love for him and Dade kids but Bain if he was allowed to play more for stats would be a better heisman candidate. Beck sadly will eat those votes. OSU JS has issues with how they protect the QB.

If Miami goes as far as they can go...Carson Beck is getting drafted way high. Plenty of teams love their QBs arms to be cooked to al dente and perfectly salted.

If his arm fully heals sometime before this season ends, he'll be cooking. Toney is proving to be the next greatest Dawson slot merchant and is playing the worst football he'll ever play here right now. He's the only guy that can play this slot role here to the level of X and Tank Dell. Johnson seems like a nice backup that might have a few good games for us. Other receivers need to get open a little more consistently and start establishing themselves. We're making good use of Marion, a lot of stuff that'll set up teams in the future for a gamechanging play. A little too many drops for my liking too by the unit. Becks ball placement has been questionable deep and on the mid range stuff, too...still, WRs gotta help him out. CJ Daniels really wants to be the man, but got to secure catches. Opportunity is there, but he might have some skillcaps. We'll see if he can take pressure off Toney.

Do you think the talent has been declining, or other areas of the country are just catching up? It seems to me like year in and year out, top tier talent still comes from SoFla and makes plays on NFL sundays.
several other areas are catching up, and passing, SoFL's population demographics.

Been brewing for years. Normal cycle.
