Maybe this is crazy, but I see it with my kids as compared to me and my friends growing up . . . cell phones and iPads have pushed kids from playing outside to being inside. I wonder if youth sports enrollment is down here or across the country?
 
We recruit nationally now. That combined with the way the team is treated down here make this not as big a deal as it used to be.

I've got as much pride in my city(Miami) as anyone. But if they wanna go elsewhere, it's kinda hard for me to care about their success. Unless UM slow played, didn't want, or just didn't recruit them, once they leave, I forget about them.

Beck is 24-3 as a starting quarterback in the SEC, he’s won some big games before.

Now his overall record as a starter is 28-3.

That’s a fairly significant sample size covering a variety of different types of games that he’s played. Not bad. Would Mendoza have the same record as a starter under the same circumstances? I’m not saying I know, but that’s a question to ponder.

Maybe Mendoza ends up having a better year and is a Heisman contender. Maybe not. Haven’t even completed a fourth of the season yet, with only one legit opponent.

I’d hold off on glazing anybody, including Beck or Mendoza, although Beck has the track record right now.

As much as Love looks like a great RB, I can't see him taken day 1. The stats don't back him up like Barkley and others. I also don't think these QBs last to the end of the year. Just like Cade was top 5 and now isn't even listed on most mocks. It wouldn't shock me to see Beck in the first round and if Bell keeps performing into the CFP he creeps into the first round, too. Lots of football left to play.

I responded to your dumbass post earlier and you immediately pivoted to discrediting the very survey you were using as evidence, but anyway. We can take a look back at this next April when Sellers isn’t off the board day 1.
