Miami beats the Cuse... well....

Miami pulls away from the Cuse after a desultory first half by the score of 38-10. In many ways it was like the Stanford victory. You can get away with a slow start against teams of this caliber and then pour it on late and win handily. But it still leaves you wondering how they fare vs better teams

I like the fact UM came out in spread and throwing the ball around a bit, I just wish they would add some quic-tempo to it. What I found interesting is the gadget plays Dawson brought out late as the game was basically over.

I did like the fact that due to injuries we saw some young guys flash like Pringle and Upshaw. Trader had some drops but the reality is you probably need to keep feeding him with the injury to CJ Daniels.

Miami wins, they are 7-2 now. Now they have some tougher games. Im not convinced that how they played today (especially in the first half) is good enough to win out against the remaining schedule.
Miami needs to Incorporate more of Pringle moving forward along with Upshaw, Toney, Moore.

It seems Trader lacks killer instinct and physicality like the true No 1's have. But we need to keep feeding him moving forward since daniels may be out for the year unfortunately.

We need to finish strong and win out and hope pitt beats gatech and maybe even ND. So if we beat pitt we can maybe sneak in the playoff. Not likely but I can hope!

Why are you trying to put down people that have eyeballs while proclaiming we’ll go 10-2 as if you didn’t watch any of our games???
I'm not trying to put anyone down. I'm trying to put into perspective for the morons on here claiming that Mario should be fired

we won 10 games ONCE IN TWENTY YEARS

SMU and Louisville shouldn't have happened. I'm not excusing Mario, but we were a **** program for 20 years, anyone calling for the dude to be fired is just a low IQ individual

doesn't mean I'm thrilled with this season, I'm ****ed like everyone. but the dude isn't getting fired nor should he

This is setting up perfectly for an end to the season where we beat NC State and VT, get (a portion) of the fanbase fired up for tiebreakers, only to collapse (again) in Pitt.

Sort of like eating a handful of viagra only to be stood up by your date.

Again.

The ole scenarios and what not

Complete lack of continuity in his play calling. The reverse pass could have about 4-5 options off it. Straight handoff to the RB with the motion. P/A off both the Rb and Toney with a shot downfield. P/A with a screen to the RB. P/A with a throw to Toney. And just a straight reverse. You run that 3-4x a game using the different options and it will stress a defense out. But we’ll likely never see it again.
Dawson stinks

i will be shocked if they run the table and it would be so brutal to sit at #13 in the playoff ranking.
If they do run the table, I will profusely apologize

We won 10 twice in 20 years. Once with Richt and once with Mario.

This team can still easily drop 1-2 more games.

There is absolutely no guarantee the defense and special teams will give the offense the shot in the arm they gave us this game.

If we win 10 this year why would we not be upset about still missing the ACCCG and 12 team playoff???

All of this with supposedly top 5 spending and NIL with a top 10- top 5 roster to have nothing to show for it?

A congratulatory pat on the back for the possibility of a 10 win season is worthless given our spending and talent level.

It was funny to see the young bucks come in and the offense opens up with Pringle, upshaw, Moore and Toney

Seemed like the ball was moving and it opened up

Defense outside of that wash TD was lights out and playing with purpose since they woke up this morning… Scott, Thomas, Bain, and Messidor were dawgs…. Again Toure was the only liability again

to contrast my point you include Mario's ten win season lmao

I said nothing about a pat on the back. I said that him getting fired like the gameday thread is full of and some on here are screaming for is just idiotic

Gotta hope Pitt wins out and that last game of the season is a top 25 matchup to ice up the optics and a couple of teams ahead stumble up… we need to be beating down the narrative of a head to head win against ND no way they should be in over us with similar records

You forget we have one of the highest paid rosters, evaluated and recruited by Mario, better facilities and more investment than ever….essentially the program everyone has wanted. And we’re right back to struggling to win 10 back to back. And likely looking at an 8, maybe 9 win season. At least the last 20 years we could say it was bad because we couldn’t pay with the top teams.
