really have to question why we’re hedging so hard but let’s hope we can find a way to continue to outscore these guys

Defensive intensity has been hit or miss, but it's an improvement over the first half. That said, Miami needs to win this game at the line. Get to the line, force VT to foul, if they collapse inside, hit open shooters. It's obvious Miami doesn't have any kind of answer for Kidd, and Omier with one good ankle can only do so much. It's frustrating that Nwoko has been a complete disaster, because this is the kind of game that if he was what most of us thought he could be coming in, he would be getting legit PT. We just need a tall, rangy guy to bother Kidd a bit. We don't have that, because our tall, rangy guys are softer than baby crap....
