This dude from Texas if we didn't have Borregales last year, people would have liked as the addition. He has never missed a PAT, his So yr made 80% of his kicks and jr yr made 82%. No question dude sucked this past year...

Jose made 83% 77%, then 73% as a jr with 3 missed PATs at FIU before coming here and hitting 90%.

Andres was elite for us, only ever missed 1 PAT in 4 yrs, and hit 81%, 85%, 85%, then capped it off with 94% of his kicks this year... Expecting that would honestly be ludicrous. Again college kickers usually suck balls and will miss random kicks.

Such a simpleton response. Nobody is saying we have no chance against them and my point clearly went over your head.

ND is by far the most talented team we face on our schedule. Their strengths on offense (running game) is a terrible matchup for our weak front 7. This team is full of holes and the roster isn’t being fixed as many of us hoped for. We are bringing in 20 DB’s, though. Add a questionable kicker and this is no bueno.

I know this may be a tough pill to swallow but that 2017 game will not have any impact on this game. That 2017 defense is light years ahead from this season’s. Apples and ******* oranges.

Btw, ND spread has gone up to -3. But it’s okay, 2017 will win us this game…

You clearly think we have no chance against ND. You’ve made that clear by continuously slamming our swiss cheese roster while referencing ND - again, as if ND and everyone else has no holes themselves.

Please enlighten us all about our weak D line you speak of (who by the way ranked 18th last year against the run). Who did we lose from last years roster there that’s going to cause teams to run down our throat? Barrow? lol. Another year of an older Bain, Mesidor, the young pups in the middle, while adding Blay and a Hayden Lowe who everyone praises. You act like kids don’t improve year over year… particularly 4 and 5 star rated players. Let me guess, those types only regress at Miami?

If you’re so sure, make your “easy money” against this awful Miami roster by betting against it. Proof will be in the pudding, puddin’!

Im just glad you retired your Arozerena gif of him flexing after a double…because you were whiffing a **** of a lot more than hitting - kinda like your takes on this “potent” ND squad that’s gonna run amuck of our Canes.

This opening game will probably be the most important from our Lbs of the entire season, which is actually the most concerning thing to me. I think that is gunna push our coaches to go with the more experienced lbs who I think simply aren’t more than average at best. I like our young talent at Lb and think by mid season a guy like Wiley could really step up. But I doubt he’ll be the guy by ND.

I like our DLine though which is the biggest difference between your opinion and mine.

The good thing about us having good DBs though is they’re going with a 1st time starting qb to start a season they have very high expectations and a major opening game to start your career. We know we need to 99% lock in on stopping the run. Makes the game quite simple honestly. Stop the run. Fail and we lose, succeed I think we win.

I think for the most part kicker success is like 95% mental. His ability to hit from 50 doesn't really matter as much

It is, but its a craft with very fine details mattering a lot. It's like a golf swing or a throw of the dart, one slight error in movement and you're not hitting the net
