I’m just glad they weren’t totally cool with just rolling Carter Davis out there after one spring camp. Not ideal but I’ll take competition in that room, especially with a kicker with SEC experience.

Hoping the change of scenery helps him get over the yips.

Side note it may be my hurricanes fandom but Pat O’Donnell may be the most physically impressive punter I’ve ever worked with or seen in person.

My brother did Pats film for college. He's a freak athlete and ran track. I used to kick with him. We'd train together. He could kick 60 yard field goal with 1 step. Hes a huge Canes fan so was glad to see him play with them 1 year .

Two of the 9 he missed in 2024 were over 50 yards. And he missed 4 late in the year, 2 in the SEC-CG and 2 in the bowl game. Injury? I'm sure we did our due diligence.

Before the 2024 post season, he only missed 5. I don't know what was to blame, but I'd be willing to bet that he is fixable.

He has HIT on a lot of FGs. He was over 80% in 2022 and 2023 even missing 5 and 6 FGs respectively.

Needs to work on his long kicks. His short game is MONEY.

6-12 between 40-49 yards is atrocious!!!

Special Teams needed to be addressed since the season ended and this being the best option out there that they got is not good, IMO!

Majority of his misses last year were from 40+ yards, hes automatic within 39 and below pretty much is his tale through his career. 22 and 23 seasons he was over 80% make rate.
