Most simulations have us winning 26/27-20. From what I’ve seen. So trend probably tops out at -6. 70% bets and money on Miami though so that might cause a chnage

YUP. I bet today off the board and took the Canes at 5 1/2 which is crazy. On the parlay its 3 1/2 jumped a full 2 points.

That's probably true. Sophisticated bookmakers profile their winning players and may move the line based off a decent sized bet from one of those 1%ers, even if it's less money that was bet on the game by a profiled square. The online casinos know which of their players consistently win and Vegas requires a player's card to track that once the bets are large enough. Also, if the line is -6 everywhere and a rogue casino or two is offering -6.5, they may not just be booking but betting themselves. Bottom line... it's great our line moved, but we'll never know exactly why it did.
