I didn’t follow Beck much at UGA

Wasn’t his strength his stats against the blitz? Feels like I remember seeing that

I thought so. It’s hard to say this year he has struggled under pressure since it’s pretty rare

But if we separate pressure and blitzing

What’s so crazy about our defense is how much pressure we get without blitzing. **** against FSU blitzing was the only thing getting us in trouble it seemed to me

If they can pressure with the front 4 then I could see it but with our OL? Seems like a tall task
 
Almost every set of public power ratings disrespects Miami. Sp+ has been doing it all year. Sagarin has them 6 (though within .9 of 2nd).

This is mostly because of priors and how bad the defense was last year, combined with taking the foot off the gas in the 4th Qs this year (the computers aren’t seeing that the games weren’t as close as the scores have indicated).

So that could explain the like movements. If you believe those computers, the opening line was too high.

That said, it takes a LOT of money to move a line 2 points on gameday when both teams had a bye last week. I’m not saying we lose, but I wouldn’t be rushing to the window to bet Miami -11.5 right now.
 
Just saw where the line dropped to 10-….people betting on us getting out by 3 scores and Mario going prevent again ?

Saw a stat where Brohm has lost by double digits like once when he’s a double digit dog since he became UL coach. If we are for real we cover original spread. That simple

The only players worth that many points would have been like Beck, Bain maybe Tony. This report only solidifies that there is another factor being bet on, right?
