Yes I am soft. Still expect at least one of the Mario specials. Unfortunately that has happened literally every single year he’s been a P4 HC. It’s always easy to tell when it is happening because of how the games start (players looking sluggish, nothing is working, let inferior teams hang around). I breathe easy once I see UM means business from the start of the game.

We took control last year and went up 31-17 about halfway through the 3Q, and then gave up the 100 yard KO return, and it was a dog fight from there out.

As long as we don’t help Louisville out, we will win. Not a blowout, but shouldn’t be in doubt in the 4th.

I live in the Pacific NW. watched a ton of Oregon games. The Cristobal specials become obvious when you see it season after season. What I can’t explain is why it happens. He isn’t going to outcoach anyone, but still wins a lot of games with a talent advantage. But then 1-2 times a year the talent doesn’t show up. One can say he got outschemed in those particular games but he’s outschemed in nearly every game. So there has to be a different reason besides being outschemed.
