Mel Kiper releases top 10 per position

Some of nikkaz think if someone puts a miami uniform on they top three. There's better players out there go watch other teams instead of just the canes.

I dont know if they are better players, however I'm sure they play for teams that are coached a helluva lot better

Walford has the measurables and hands to be a good pro. This season has really helped his stock.

Duke at #5RB is a joke. One of the most complete backs ever.

Gurley
Gordon
Abdullah
Yeldon
They are ranked ahead of duke. Yeldon is as avg as the day is long. Duke is a better runner than Abdullah but I could see where it would be close.

I rate Duke as second best in college next to Gordon, tie. Obviously Gurley #1 he's a freak. Abdullah would be 4th. Yeldon not in my 5. I like Coleman from Indiana as #5. Yeldon a tad overrated.

As prospects though. Would put Duke 3rd. Behind Gurley #1 and Gordon #2. Only rate Gordon higher due to size, view them on same level talent.

Also I could understand McKinney being rated higher than Perryman. Due to size. McKinney is 6'5", Perryman is about 6'0" at best. It's understandable.

Walford a bit too low even if he has issues in blocking.

It is an insider article so not sure if I can post here. I will just mention the UM guys.

Duke #5 Rb
Walford #10 Te
Feliciano #7 OG
Perryman #2 ILB

Pretty sad.

not addressing the numbers...but flowers isnt top 10?...dorsett?

Dorsett will have a blazing 40 time so his stock will rise. He's going to be a dangerous weapon in the pro's. It's criminal how underutilized he is.

Donna and this disgraceful admin continuing to cost players like Duke Johnson a ton of money. But rejoice, she had her APR scores.

Were loaded definitely a 10 win team.... A few years away still... And duke is lucky golden and company made him a top rb... He isnt better than gurley.. Tevin... Gordon... Abdullah... Yeldon.. Henry ... He would of never seen the field at bama

I think most scouts view Duke as a third down back. However, I think he is going to be a superstar version of Sproles. He has such great open field vision. He makes the first guy miss with ease..... Walford could be good top ten is fair for him, He shows no burst in the open field and makes no one miss. And its not like he has super hands in traffic. DP will always get knocked for his disappearing in big games, which is not generally on him its more that good teams dominate our OL and are able to get to him easily. Feliciano should make a team somewhere, not sure he will be drafted once the film comes out.... And Flowers has had wayyyyy too many penalties this yr to improve his grade... His talent is undeniable, however the OL as a whole has been mediocre so that plays a factor I'm sure.. Surprised PD is not in there at like Ten. He has speed you can't teach and 34 yards per catch is impressive. He will run his way into the draft for sure.

No way 9 t ends better than walford

As much as I love his game and big play ability, he has had "moments" this year that might look like he's dogging it a little. Maybe that has him nudged down? That said, the cream will rise to the top on draft day and this kid has the look of that big pass-catching TE that seems to flourish in the NFL these days.

Have (sadly) said it before, Duke as-is doesn't go earlier than the 3rd round.

Know way yeldon is better. Ingram and Richardson were ten times better at bama and they have done nothing. People have the nerve to question duke's speed but he would smoke yeldon. Henry, is a freak but come on. What has he done to say he is better than duke. Henry is great if your line holds up as he needs to get started. Any penetration and he gets stopped fairly easily.

As for Dorsett, other than deep routes what does he run. Maybe a drag. In the NFL if you don't have great technique and the ability to run te route tree it is extremely tough to be successful. He isn't a first round wr. Marquise lee had way more production and went 2nd round. I like Dorsett but he is what he is.

I don't have enough knowledge on all the other guys in those rankings to make a case for our guys being higher/lower.

I just wanted to drop in and point out that I GUARANTEE we will have at least a couple guys not on those lists that will go on to perform in the NFL and be on those "If we could do it over" draft/rankings list that come out every year after the NFL season has begun.
