What an indictment of UM's QB Coach Jon Richt that Malik Rosier turned to David Morris for coaching help in improving his accuracy and throwing motion.

Morris also best known for "being Eli Mannings travel roommate for 4 years at Ole Miss".

David Morris is the founder of QB Country. He is a 2002 graduate of Ole Miss, where he was a four-year letterman at quarterback. He remains the only true freshman walk-on to start a game in the SEC, leading the Rebels to a win over rival Mississippi State. He is a 1998 graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile, Al., and in his junior season was named a USA Today Honorable Mention All American. After his record-breaking high school career, Morris did not receive any Division I offers and turned down other offers to pursue his dream of playing in the SEC. He earned a scholarship with Ole Miss after his true freshman year. Eli Manning was also in that year’s signing class so there’s no need to get into career statistics. Morris was a four-year travel roommate with Mannning and the two have remained close friends. .......

We good. Love that 'chip on your shoulder' attitude, particularly when someone else like the WRs point it out. A lot of careers were made with that chip.

How is that an indictment and why are you always hammering on Jon Richt?

In the video he clear says he went Morris after talking with Mark Richt, rather than work with Jon Richt. If Jon Richt was doing his job we would see marked improvement in not only Malik Rosier but also N. Perry. Can say you have seen improvement in Malik, an if there is dramatic improvement in Malik's play this year it will be attributed to his work with professional QB coach David "Eli's Roomy" Morris.

You do realize coaches have contact limitations in the off season right?

When the Canes go 15-0, nobody will give a **** about Eli’s roommate

Please explain how Rosier working with a QB guru, a common practice of high school'ers to NFL'ers, is an indictment of UM's QB Coach Jon Richt.

I've got to tell you, the hate aimed at every phase/person of the UM football program by many CIS'ers has to be acid induced..."Do not take the brown acid. The brown acid is bad"

Kids all around the country do this man. College coaches are limited with their hands on training. No big deal.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't all starting and even back-up college quarterbacks have a qb coach for the offseason. I remember Kaayas QB coach was interviewed a couple years ago

An every other college team has those same limitations. Yet last year Toledo, Syracuse, UNC, Clemson, Pitt, UVA, And Wisconsin all had better QB performances than Malik did.

So are you telling me that if Jon Richt were let go tomorrow, there are a bunch of Power 5 schools that would come calling for his services?

Didn't you imply earlier this year in the offseason that Rosier should go seek a 3rd party to improve his technique and referenced certain QB coaches? So what's the problem?

Agreed. College coaches aren't allowed to coach up the players in the offseason. That's why it's important to have a great S&C, because they're essentially the only ones that can be around them for extended periods of time.

I don't have an issue with Malik Rosier going to a QB coach, I fully understand lots of QB's do it. **** I was one of the first ones to saw after the bowl game he should take his living expense money and borrow some money from his parents an put pull it together so he could go work with QB Guru coach George Whitfield Jr. out in california for a few weeks.

The issue I have is that Miami's QB's are not progressing that well under Jon Richt. The fact that Jarren Williams coming out high school has the best mechanics of any QB currently on Miami's roster as a true freshmen is sad.

No they did not. Not in yards and TDs. This fruity notion that the QBs for UNC and Syracuse were better than Malik is simply not true.

Malik vs UNC -356 yards 3 TDS and 1 INT
UNC QB Elliot. — 173 yards 1 TD and 3 INT’s

At least do some research before spouting idiotic comments .
