Almost knows him. They were supposed to meet but Agude was late.
A&M's starting center is returning & he'll make a difference.
I was taking a cheap shot at Agude. I hope he gets that again Saturday.Sorry must went over my head. But didn't agude n Johnson play against max? Agude had 6 tackles, 1 sack n tfl
supposedly because King is more mobile and knows the entire playbook. Jimbo wanted to have everything in it available....So before everyone decides this is a reason to freak out, remember that Jimbo picked King over Johnson. Must have been a reason. For whatever he is, Jimbo knows QB’s.
Johnson put up solid numbers on the year as a whole but they’re a little misleading because most of it came against the worst teams they played . Against the decent to good defenses on LSU’s schedule last year (Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Kentucky, ) his QB rating averaged 110.28. Basically he sucked against every decent defense they played except, ironically enough, A&M who he had a pretty good game against to get them to bowl eligibility. Most lsu fans hate him for some reason. Game manager type who loved the pocket a bit too much.
Watch him rush for 100 yards Saturday night. Smh.

False.... Max is known as a turtle speed wise. There trying to get Connor up to speed over Max tbh.Max ran better in the spring game than King, if that means anything.
#8 I won't say his name but again bad hips.View attachment 208320
If I'm TAMU, regardless of QB, this is a route I'm using over and over until we play someone at that spot who's willing to anticipate and close more aggressively. On 3rd and 9 here, from the opposite hash (!), our corner reacted late to the in-breaking route. I suppose protecting against a double move or just delayed instinct. Any halfway accurate college passer hits this route. It's often been free money.
Ian Book. End listI'm hoping this is the start of something new since we have adults running things now but has our defense made ANY QB in the last 10 years look below average?
I watched CoachHayes show on YouTube for the S. Miss game. Ivey actually had good coverage, but makes mistakes. On one of the S. Miss big pass plays, Ivey was "in phase" out on the numbers, but DIDN'T drive the receiver to the OB with "look and lean" coverage. Subsequently, a perfect pass and the WR makes a 50/50 catch. This is correctable with film review and good coaching.Ivey will still give up 10 YAC to throws in backfield.
If Coach Hayes wasn’t talking about a 5th year CB I would have some hope that things could be fixed. I think it this point I just want to see #29 out there.I watched CoachHayes show on YouTube for the S. Miss game. Ivey actually had good coverage, but makes mistakes. On one of the S. .
Hopefully, Ivey makes a few plays early and gains confidence. I think he doesn't trust himself when he loses confidence. That's where fundamental mistakes come into play.
