Maurice Smith Alabama DB transfer

Hes making horrible decisions. This is your last year to show the NFL something, why wouldnt you pick a school asap to get acclimated with the program, coaches, team, playbook? It doesnt hurt us to recruit him to the end, but this is hurting him. Man i wish we had JC Jacson.....

He can't even make an actual decision until after he graduates today. So he's not really wasted any extra time.

After all this drama and weeks of talking about him, I could see him winding up at Houston for some reason.

Graduate. Enjoy the day. Then get down to business and get ready to ball out in Miami.

You want to get back at Alabama. Bring all the good things you learned there, help us recruit against them when we have kids on campus and play with the plan to meet them in the playoff.

That's what a real savage would do. Let's see what Smith is made of.

LOL @ the way this guy is acting. We have the best opportunity for him to see the field and he's dragging his feet. Wouldn't surprise me if he chooses some random school we haven't heard about.

It'll be good just to have the competition if nothing else. He better be thinking about having a dominant senior season and heading to the league.

bring him in for sure. dont care if we were 3rd choice. We have space on the roster, a need at CB and he won't take a scholarship from the 2017 class. If it was up to Kellen Winslow II, he never would have been a Cane. We were the compromise. That worked out just fine.

He should have just stayed at Bama.He was starting there in nickel packages and injuries happen every game.He might have been a starter after a few games. Now,they threw all his chit in the trash and his mom is crying all over social media.I'll be glad when he and his mother finally make their decision and we can get on with the season.Enough already.Come here or don't,just make **** decision.

Deciding on a team? I have the feeling this dude is not gonna start on any team he gos too

My visions of Maurice Smith are also getting bleaker now, Vern. With the way Redwine and Colbert are playing, if Smith comes here at this point I think he'd be a rotational guy. He's too far behind and doesn't seem to have the mentality of a guy who's going to come in and take over those two.

Agreed, this is playing into Saban's hands. His best decision at this point is to stay, but seems like he's burned too many bridges.

This site man. Y'all get too in your feels sometimes. Even if he's just a nickel guy, there is no way the unit isn't better to have him on the roster. Right now we are one injury away from having only 2 decent corners, and that's assuming Redwine and Colbert can both actually play, neither of which is a given.

Don't care if we are his 10th choice. We need him.

Maurice Smith is a Quitter. We don't need Quitters. We are trying to rid our program of Golden's Gems.

Plus, you clowns are only clamoring for this guy because he played at Bama. So what. Bama's Secondary players are suspect. I like what we have. Let's coach them up and get them experienced and not waste time with this overrated quitter.

Quitter? How is he any different than other graduate transfer we've had here? Is Colbert a quitter and disparaged?
