Dee has been saying for months how big of a problem Dougherty has been and his clown show recruiting strategy. This area of the recruiting department is so important thank god we have not settled with this loser.

Writing was on the wall when Cooney got promoted over him.

Manny has someone better in mind or already lined up.

Think we're gearing up for some big boy football if you know what I mean.

Manny was at Texas during a mediocre stretch for them but I think he got a real taste there of how a big time program is run. This along with him seemingly being very cognizant of the trends in today's game/programs is probably a good reason why we've seen so much movement and changes. If you don't fit that vision then you're gone. No hard feelings.

Dont think this was about Doherty doing a bad job. His job was basically to scout talent talent. They did that coaching staff missed consistently. Did work in the portal as well. Think this about freeing up money for others on the staff. Cooney probably will see some of that money.
