I don't expect we ask him to run block 1on1 much with #98. Key will be whether Brockermeyer can get to the second level when he doubles him with a guard. Also whether our TE can block an edge when they are in a bear front and we double him. Avoid running outside zone, where Brockermeyer would be 1on1 against him. Dawson needs to riff off successful running plays against #98. UW inserted the TE against him in a bear front. It worked somehow. IU had the inline TE downblock against him on their explosive run in the first half - he still nearly blew the play up and mucked up the pulling guard, but he sold out and it was a huge play. I think we should try similar action with Toney at QB and pulling Cooper/CiCi, since Toney can hold the weakside LBer (Reese in the IU game) and Beck can't. Pray Lofton ate his Wheaties.
