Off-Topic Mass killings

Don’t let actual facts get in the way. I wonder how many people were killed by fentanyl and other drugs coming across the border. We’re literally talking about thousands upon thousands. Nobody pays attention though, to all those deaths. It’s just not politically expedient to admit that you’re horrible border policies are allowing the unfettered entrance of poison into this country. But that’s cool though because, you know, “assault rifle violence“. You know, AR stands for assault rifle.
Those border policies are not only 'allowing' it, but encouraging it. Monthly benefits, FEDs laundering $$ through 'charities' who are funding them...

You and I have to goto work tomorrow, so this sht continues burning in the background. At some point the inflection point will pass and it's unrecoverable.

Entire communities are rotting, hundreds of thousands are dying, but let’s focus on scary looking long guns and “climate emergencies”

Can we work on both issues at the same time? Plus, no one in the past 5 years has figured out how to get fentanyl numbers down. In fact, even with Trump's border policies, fentanyl deaths tripled from 2016 to 2020 (20,000 to 60,000).
.
In 2021, they went up again by roughly 33% to 80,000, which was actually a decrease of the 50% increase seen from 2019 to 2020. Nothing to be proud of, but it appears to be a trend over the past 5 years and not just an increase due to Biden.

Come on. It’s not like the Fentanyl issue just started last year. As CaneinBroward pointed out overdoses have been increasing year over year.

Assault Weapons = All Guns?
The communists (but they call themselves democrats) try their hardest to push that agenda so they can take away everyone's guns so next they can take all of your assets. Just like their Chinese communist buddies. Notice how the CCP just reneged on their Hong Kong takeover while the people of Hong Kong had to protest without guns since they did not have any. They started to gain a little traction and then the Chinese unleashed their Chinese Virus to the rest of the world. Then the CCP crushed the protest under the China Virus cover and the US media turned a blind eye to it as well.

A little history back to the 1997 handover of Hong Kong took place—as the city ended 150 years as a British colony and became a permanent part of mainland China—its future governance seemed clear. Beijing would handle defense and foreign affairs, but “Hong Kong people” would manage their own affairs with “a high degree of autonomy” for at least fifty more years.

Then reality set in. Ever since the handover, Beijing and the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have steadily reneged on explicit and implicit promises about how China would govern Hong Kong and what civil rights its people would enjoy. Aided most recently by Chief Executive Carrie Lam’s seemingly enthusiastic enablers, central authorities have tightened controls sharply until achieving the current status quo. As a result, China has crushed political dissent, eroded the inherited common law legal system, and squelched other civil rights.

Notice the lunatics always try to deflect the facts.
A chart showing that active shooter incidents have become more common in the U.S. in recent years

How many people are killed in mass shootings in the U.S. every year?

This is a difficult question to answer because there is no single, agreed-upon definition of the term “mass shooting.” Definitions can vary depending on factors including the number of victims and the circumstances of the shooting.

The FBI collects data on “active shooter incidents,” which it defines as “one or more individuals actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a populated area.” Using the FBI’s definition, 38 people – excluding the shooters – died in such incidents in 2020.

The Gun Violence Archive, an online database of gun violence incidents in the U.S., defines mass shootings as incidents in which four or more people are shot, even if no one was killed (again excluding the shooters). Using this definition, 513 people died in these incidents in 2020.

Regardless of the definition being used, fatalities in mass shooting incidents in the U.S. account for a small fraction of all gun murders that occur nationwide each year.

You are welcome to your opinion. However, to equate all D's to the CCP is totally ridiculous IMO. If you believe those who have differing opinions on issues than you are evil and are akin to a brutal, totalitarian government, there is no way to find common ground.

In reality, you are endorsing the same kind of authoritarian style government of the CCP, just one that follows the policies that you promote.

We've locked a few threads because of painting with a broad brush. Let's not do that here please.

U are correct it’s not cause of Biden that it was over 64k in 2020. In 2021 the projection was over 100k (not sure if calculated yet but was over 54k 6 months in). See my link above. Covid border restrictions have undoubtedly contributed to more drugs coming across (I am sure u agree). It would have increased with Trump too I bet… but not at the same rate.

However bigger than that… is during Covid, blaming it on China (which of course was correct to do… cause it came from China and was let out by China) became forbidden cause trump said it and he’s a racist xenophob according to MSM. We no longer call out China on Covid nor fentanyl. Why is that? How come the Biden admin isn’t looking into the origins of Covid (which are obvious) or calling out China for fentanyl? Why are we instead talking about removing Chinese tariffs?

McCarthy was right. Today's cotton-candy communists now operate in the open, with social impunity. While every good, hard-working American has been beaten into submission by cultural marxism, elitism, climate-ism, woke-ism and authoritarianism.

The time for true Americans of every race, creed, color and party to stand up and be counted, stand up and be heard, stand up say fck-off to the globalist/communist wave about to overwhelm us.

Those are not Ds. Not the disaster that is in charge now. I live in California that is a total disaster and corrupt. I go back seven generations of working class democrats and several were politicians in Pennsylvania and Ohio. That goes way back and always listened to my great uncles going back and forth on politics as a child. Kennedy was the last true working class democrat. Walter Reuther should have been his VP instead of LBJ but Kennedy needed the southern vote. Big difference between the northern and southern democrats.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood you, but you said Communists call themselves Democrats so it seemed like you were implying that all D's are Communists. Like you, I am not a fan of the far left elements of the D party. That being said, I don't hear any of them promoting the state taking over all industry. Plus, the vast majority don't want to get rid of all guns.

Props to you for being around a while. The LBJ choice over Walter Reuther was a bit before my time.
